White knighting for CometsWin? Common enemy (Jeremy Lin) makes you guys friends? Hahahahaha.... You should just call a spade a spade and just tell it like it is.

His pattern is highly suspect. His posts speak for themselves, and there's a ton more out there.

Poke holes in WHAT theory? Anyway..

You supported Yao, so CometsWin =/= be racist?

    Do you even logic, brah?

At least take the bat off your shoulder here. I only called you out on your labeling of me. These others have nothing to do with with me.

Again, are you going to apologize for calling me a racist? When you don't, I certainly won't care on your investigative work on others that don't pertain to me.

So you're a bandwagoner then? if you cannot understand why Lin has a lot of supporters/fans then you are pissing in the wind. Alot of the hate/vitriol spewed by LOFs is gone now anyway, posters resorting to 'oh this dude on twitter said mchales a POS'. Newsflash if you look hard enough you can find disgusting things everywhere, I follow JR Smith on Instagram and the amount of flat out racist things that get posted is shocking. But I digress,

Can you please tell me at what point it is where I'm allowed to support Lin in your book? 15/5? 18/5?

Yes, because Beverley is part of the most numerically dominant ethnicity playing in the NBA who didn't have a New York Media storm sucking him off upon his breaking out into the NBA, pandering to the fact he was Undrafted, Asian, Christian. It was the Media that drummed him up to be something far greater than he was. Can't you process that?

Do you tell Germans not to support Dirk? Myself not to support Baines or Mills? If your contention is that "Why should he have fans, he isn't even a mediocre player" they you are incredibly arrogant and misguided to tell others what they can and cant do.

I can root for whoever the hell I want, I don't need my fan-card stamped by anyone, I root for the Rockets, Lin, TRIPLE FKN G GONNA KNOCK RUBIO THE F OUT, Chuckwagon, Sergio Martinez, Watt, Australian players/Sydney players, Jarryd Hayne to succeed/ etc.

Actually, given CometsWin's rather well known history of advocating black rights at the expense of every other race, it wouldn't be a huge stretch to label him as such.

It's almost better to be considered a racist than having an odd addiction to one player. If you are not racist then you're just creepy.

Your opinion carries very little value both on here and on in the real world. Hard pressed to find someone with less going for themselves then yourself

The guy I quoted was complaining that Beverley is being hailed as a hero for averaging half the numbers that Lin does and I thought it was an ironic point considering Lin is the one with the fanboys who overhype him. Beverley doesn't have fanatics like Lin does. I genuinely don't know where I elicited your response? You sound like I've been keeping you locked up in my basement with a muzzle on. You can be a Jeremy Lin fan. You can be a Raymond Felton fan. You can be a fan of Belinelli. When did I stop you?

Was this the wrong thread to poke my head in to see how Jeremy Lin is doing lately?

Saw he didn't play and was wondering why. Looks like I found last season's GARM in here, though.

Why isn't Lin's name anywhere on the list? I posted this in the preseason thread, but maybe I'll get a response here.

Anyone else as confused as I am?

Apparently Lin was out with a sprained left ankle. I guess he didn't make the trip to Anaheim for the game (lolwut), so he was left off the boxscore

As an aside, It is good seeing Jack Cooley getting some burn in the NBA. Dude was on our SL team last year and showed some decent value.

Out with sprained ankle. Should be back shortly.

That team is just not good. Defensively, they don't have a single real plus defensive talent on the entire team or any size of note up front. Offensively, it looks like that only Kobe and Lin can generate anything right now. Nick Young can do some also when he returns and Steve Nash if (and that's a big if) healthy. Boozer is only a mediocre jump shooter at this point. Randle is still too green at age 19 (I wonder if Kobe will clamor to trade him for veteran help since he is their only decent asset).

Byron Scott might get some good will as a Lakers legend and, frankly, not Mike D'Antoni but he has had plenty of losing seasons when his teams don't have the horses.

Looks like Lin is their second best defender after Ed Davis. That is some scary bad defense on that team.

Also, Byron Scott seems to have decided that three point shots are to be avoided. Have attempted 8 and completed 0 in their last two games. Last person to make a 3 was Lin before his ankle injury.

Fortunately Kobe is back, so everything will be just fine.

Prediction: Byron Scott will be the best thing to happen to Mike D'Antoni's prospects for a head coaching job.

    Lin should be back soon.
Sacre their 250 lb third string center stepped on his ankle during practice. Yep.

It's strangely fun to see you guys still at it. :)
