There is a british specialty store in Rice Village that sells Taylor of Old Bond Street, Geo F Trumper, and Truefitt and Hill among others. Direct her there. Even at their premium retail prices I think it is cheaper than AoS.

Read great things about Harry's. If I had to choose between Harry's or Dollar Shave I'd go with Harry's. That razor handle alone is worth the premium.

Which razor (disposable or not) gets the closest shave?

I use Gillette Fusion razors daily to shave both my face and my head. I'm all in for a cheaper alternative though. I've been considering going electric also.

I will definitely try switching up my shaving creams and soaps with this new razor. I just have been a little ignorant on the subject. I have just been using a beard trimmer at the lowest setting and just living with the scruff. Appreciate the advice.

I will check these out. I am going to try the sensitive cream I have with the DE razor and probably buy a brush and non-canned shaving soap/cream. I appreciate the advice.

Another vote for these. I've been using them for 20 years.

    Other than price, why disposable?

Gillette Fusion. Expensive up front. But, they last so much longer than all of the other razors I've used, they're worth it.

I really don't like using a razor more than once. It's never the same after the first time you use it.
