What is with the press? It looks like every newspaper journalist from New York to LA is spouting off some rumor about a Houston - New York trade. Not only are these rumored trades going to make the Rockets worse, they are going increase our commitments (time and money) to these below average players.

The New York Knicks are the biggest bunch of overpaid and untradeable players the NBA has ever seen. THER IS A REASON THEY DIDN'T MAKE THE PLAYOFFS IN THE EASTERN CONFERENCE! If these journalist want to save New York they should open their wallets and send them a donation. Stop trying to destroy our team in the process just because JVG was hired here.

Keep Eddie Griffin, Glen Rice, Cuttino Mobley, and Kelvin Cato. Screw Latrell Sprewell, Antonio McDyess, Kurt Thomas, Allan Houston (especially this one), and the rest of the Knicks.

If one of these proposals turn out to be true, JVG will instantly be on my sh*t list. You can't see it, but I'm giving the finger to these people.

I'l like to see Latrell Sprewell on this team but not at the price I've seen him offered for.

Spree and/or Thomas would make the NY - Houston trip worthwhile, IMO...depending...on who had to go to effect their arrival.

Any deal including Mooch and/or MoT and/or Cato for either/both works for me.

I want Rice to bring a talent unique for his expiring contract.

Thomas - good guy, but that makes him valuable to the Knicks , they will only trade him as a package with someone they want to unload

Houston - not half as good as Mobley, WAY, WAY, WAY to expensive - not only will it be a financial problem, but it will create resentment from the other players on the team

Sprewell - headcase, coach-choking, freak - do we really want another Vernon Maxwell who could lose it for some random reason in the playoffs, besides - I hate his half court offense

McDyess - no more health risks - this is a young team, that could make the playoffs next year if they stay healthy

Keep them all away from here. I don't want any part of JVG's personnel moves if these things are true.

Griffin - similar trades come to mind... Nolan Ryan, Kenny Lofton. I don't want him to become our Jermaine Oneal.

Mobley - the best valued player in the NBA, bar none

Cato - overpaid, but as of last year a competant backup to Ming - who by the way is 7'-5" tall, and prone to things like foot injuries

Taylor - the best offensive player on our team when he is healthy

The Rockets need to cool it on lateral or downward personnel moves. The only enticing rumor I have seen is the Jermaine Oneal one.

This is so wrong. How is Mobley way better than Houston? Yes Houston makes alot more than Mobley, but getting a shooter/scorer in Houston. His price tag makes him look very poor, but so does Taylor,Cato, and Norris contract.

I don't attend practices, but Mobley seems to always do what he is asked to do. Rudy has always left the green light on for his scorers. Why don't you think Mobley will do what Van Gundy asks?

Mobley can actually drive to the basket also.

Apparently I'm not the only person that likes Mobley. The "genius" that the Rockets wanted as coach loved him.

Fkcu NY Houston is good but he is wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy overpaid! He´s getting to that age and I actually like Mobley sure he makes dumb decisions at times but he is a good player and he is not expensive now all the Rox gotts do is resign JP and if this team keeps on improving we should make the playoffs with this group that we have. If the Rox dont make the playoffs next year then I suggest big changes.:D

Mobley is better slasher, cutter, defender, rebounder, and more agile and quicker and does accepts roles for the sake of the team. Houston is one dimentional players, he's a shooter thats it. New York is one of the lost franchise in the NBA next to the clippers, they have no clue what they're doing alll their 12 players are overpaid, it's unbelievable and they try to make a deal with us.
    No thanks.

I am not really sure if this works out financially but how about Mo and Moochie for Kurt Thomas and Charlie Ward? JVG really likes Charlie and Kurt would help in the rebounding dept.
