    http://www.streettalklive.com/pdf/Special Report - Bankruptcy of America.pdf

One of the most active threads on this form wastes it's time on mythical monsters and unexplainable phenomena.....oooh scary!

Here is a story that should scare the crap out of you GenX salaried workers out there; and it's real.

From the Left, Politicians wanting to maintain their power by getting re-elected have made promises about social welfare that could only be kept by making tax slaves out of your generation.

From the Right, the robber baron capitalist have subverted the American economic system for their own gain. They have falsified their earnings data while convincing hard working Americans to buy into their worthless stocks through endless Wall street proaganda. They skim their stock options profits until the ponzi scheme falls and the shareholders are left with nothing. Enron was just the first domino.

    Have a nice day!

    Dude this is an advertisement!

"If after reading this article you think that it is time for you to make a change¡¦
Call Streettalk today for professional risk adjusted portfolio management¡¦
    it¡¯s not too late."

There is another ad that says it can show me how to drive the ball 450 yards!!! I didn't call those people either. Try not to get your "news" from ads, OK?

I put a link to the article where I read it, I couldn't cut and paste it out of Adobe. The article was reprinted on the site as an FYI. I find it ironic that the site is run by a brokerage firm but the article warns of a stock crises.

Ignore the ads and consider the information.

    Oh it's an advert allright.

    1) Social security is doomed
    2) Stocks are doomed
    3) Bonds won't do any better

What to do? What to do?

    Wait...

This one guy, who went through this last time, and built a $10 million dollar empire starting from a paper route, he has the answers...

There's the pitch at the end to consider moving your savings into things more attuned to the falling dollar...

Some interesting ideas, but with a very high degree of spin...

These clowns have simply pirated this article and posted it on their garbage brokerage site. The ironic thing is that the author, Porter Stansberry, actually publishes these independent financial newsletters on his own site.....called Pirate Investor! Anyways, the article itself is still well-reasoned and well-written.

Actually, the US is in debt. Any high school student could tell you that.

All this proves the point that I will not be able to rely on Social Security and will have to work hard and provide for my retirement on my own.

Social Security was never meant to be the welfare program it is now anyways, it was to make old people retire and have income so young people could get jobs in the depression.

Now its turned into a welfare program where well to do people pay tons of Social Security tax during their lifetime to see most of it go to low income people. If you contribute $50,000 over your life to S.S. you don't get THAT much less if you contribute $500,000 over your life.

Jeesh! shoot the messenger. The article was reprinted on the commercial web site with permission of the author. The web site is an infomercial because it run by a brokerage firm and hey, making money is what they do; although you can read the site for free.

The reason I posted the article is because I think the young people of this country are about to get royally f#%*ed over by the people of my generation. You will be working so hard to pay for my old age benefits you won't be able to save for yours; and the system won't be there for you either.

Being aware is the first step to finding solutions. Apathy is just letting other people make your choices for you.

Here is my first 'off the top of my head ' solution. Legalize crack for people in assited living programs. They're happier because of their drug induced euphoria and, they will die quicker, meaning you pay less for their extensive health care services. I mean, how many Matlock reruns does one really need to watch?
