The term "Point Forward" really brings out the scoffs. But we can't mourn the loss of Parson's "playmaking" at the SF, and then mock the notion that our new bench SF has some playmaking ability himself. Here are things the basketball community has known about Pap since at least 2008: -High Bball IQ -Great "feel for the game" , basketball instincts, basketball "sense" -Very good at passing and willing to make the extra pass -Pap touches the ball pretty much every single offensive possession for the Greek team. You could say the offense runs through him. He gets a decent chunk of the credit for the Greek team's good ball movement and amount of hockey assists. The folks that have made Pap's highlight videos go for the easy highlights: dunks, 3's, chase down blocks. But if you spend some time going through them and going through Dorsey's highlights, you'll find a good amount of crafty passes by Pap. And this preseason he's already shown some of that passing.
That wasn't what my post was all about! (and thanks to those who posted videos, but it wasn't about that either!) It was just a rehash of an old (dumb) comment on the same topic (from years ago).
What I'm noticing about k pap is how much bigger he looked over in Europe. Yes he was playing on the perimeter on most of the plays, but most of the time he looked like the power forward on the floor. Watching him on the rockets, he looks a lot smaller compared to the size most teams possess. I expected him to be playing 4 but he lacks the size
Probably from threads like If X player is so good why is there no video of him passing? I know. I was just curious how good or what kind of passer he was TBH. Carry on.
My joke was too old. I have shamed my family. I exile myself to the Lakers boards with the other shameful ones
You slightly messed it up. It was: "Why is there no videos off [him] passing" http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=172291
and he's ambidextrous with his point forward skilz <img src="http://cdn.fansided.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/178/files/2013/09/Kostas-Papanikolaou-during-the-recent-Euroleague-Final-Four.-AP.jpg" width=200>
