Mello and Bron should be a great rivalry if everything turns out as hyped.

Melo can dribble and he is not a tweener like Griffin is. If Griffin had average handles or he had a legit NBA PF body, don't you think he would easily average 15+ a game? Also, Griffin's team didn't do crap so he was a good player on a crappy team. Melo was the best player in the country as a true freshman and has a title to prove it. He's gotten the best of Lebron and TJ also.

IMO this one leans in favor of Denver because they know what they are getting. Sac-town, on the other hand, is taking a huge risk not only because they don't know what performance they will get out of the #3(assumed to be Carmelo Anthony), but also because of Camby being an injury risk. The Kings should have been in the Finals and most likely the champions this season, but Webber's injury in the post season all but sealed their doom. I believe they would have easily dismantled the Mavs and very well could have beaten San Antonio. I think they should stand pat.

Good move by Sac I think. Perhaps they have finally realized that you can't win a title in the NBA without a stud player. Carmello is a good player to take a chance on - and on their timetable, a much better gamble than LeBron. It also lets them keep Turkoglu, who was probably going to leave if they didn't make a move to give him playing time and fortifies their center/PF position.

Sacramento is probably the only team in the league deep enough to get away with something like this.

Stupid move by Sac Kings. They would have won the title this year had Webber not got injured. Just keep what they have and prey for a healthy season. Stupid!

Webber has hit a few big shots in the last couple of playoffs.

I don't see why people make such a big deal out of this. I think it works for both teams. Denver has two young international players that could become stars(Nene Halario, Nikoloz Tskitishvili) and Peja Stojakovic would just add more international flavor to the team. Bobby Jackson is good enough to start at the point in Denver. ANd for the Kings they get a young kid who could become a super star. Camby does not help, but when Carmelo is putting up MVP like numbers the Kings won't care.

When I glanced at the title I thought it was Turkeyglue and Jackson, and thought, eh somewhat interesting, mebbe denver would do it.

But Peja and Jackson? Denver would win big time talent and cap-wise.
