I don't see any chance for a change at QB until after the bye week.

    About the offensive line?

When Fitz has had a decent pocket, he's passed the ball very well. Look it up.

and when he doesnt have a clean pocket, he sh!ts the bed. look it up.

    he has little awareness.

he's a back up qb. it cannot get worse with mallett.

So if our backup QB was mobile I'd say maybe, but the problem is Mallett makes Schaub look like Mike Vick. I am interested in seeing his upside, but we NEED Fitzy's mobility behind this porous offensive line.

pocket awareness has NOTHING to do with mobility.

i wonder how much football some of you actually watch.

so many of your responses are cliche & predictable.

Fitzpatrick is a bottom 10 QB with severe and obvious limitations. That's pretty much a death sentence in a QB centric league. I'd rather go ahead and start the auditions/carousel than waste another Sunday afternoon watching this guy keep the seat lukewarm.

So does Manning. Source: every playoff game he's played.

Yes, Fitz isn't a great QB. No **** Sherlock! But, he's about 10x better than Mallet could ever hope to be.

I agree, and we had the same problem last year. It doesn't matter who the QB or coach is. If the offensive line can't block, the team will struggle. I would play the QB that can scramble the best. Fitz is probably our best choice at this point.

Not yet. We all know that this team is dependent upon turnovers and mistake free football in order to win games by now. Yes, Fitz fumble was horrible, but he also made some throws that got us back in the game.

If we don't give up that onside kick and/or if Randy makes that field goal this could have gone the other way. We don't have a good QB on this roster as far as I'm concerned, so it's not time to do any experimenting until we're either out of the race or Fitz goes off the deep end.

Honestly, Fitzpatrick looked better in the second half last night than I'd expect Mallett to ever be.

I don't know why that got so much press as if it was inspiring or something...I rolled my eyes when I heard it.

This team would be 4-2 at minimum with Bridgewater starting, possibly 5-1

No way, with the hits Fitz has taken, Bridgewater would be out until the 2015 season.

Someone who actually watched the game right here and knows what he is talking about. Fitz was good last night.

I am all for a QB change as soon as the season is lost, but not to Mallet. Let's see if Savage has anything to offer because he's the only one that has a chance to be a QB of the future.

The Texans traded for Mallet to be their backup in case they needed to put someone in the game, not because they think he can be a great QB.

The OLine is getting wrecked. Duane Brown is a turnstyle, Ben Jones is a turnstyle, the tight ends can't block...

A statue like Mallet behind this line would get decimated.

Fitz played very well last night. If Andre Johnson doesn't fumble a ball...AGAIN...then Fitz looks like a hero.
