As obnoxious as my title is and clearly directed at Clutch's "heave" thread [IMG], coming home from the Summit, I just can't bare to be truly obnoxious, nor do I want to.

I just want everyone to remember the last two games. The Knicks couldn't get a clutch attempt off nor could Francis tonight. NBA defenses are tough in this situation. Every coach will take ANY shot from a shooter who has their feet under them with a clean stroke.

Think about this game and the Knicks next time you blame any Rocket for getting off a clean heave down by three.

It is hard to get off the shot, much less make it!

Please, don't blame Francis. He needs reps in the end. And don't blame Mobley for getting off clean shots, either.

Well, this thread is about as belligerent as they come. thx heypartner for dissing the "heave" thread. Taking a shot at someone's internet hobby is pretty lame.

oh...no lack of optimism at all.

just trying to get people to talk about the dynamics of a last second 3 ptr, and a last second shot altogether.

read my disclaimer at the top. I want a shot, and will not blame any clean shot.

no pessimism here. do you get it!!
