trade cato and taylor for Michael Redd ,Ervin Johnson and a future 1st round pick

    02-03 season
    Michael Redd
MPG FG% 3P% FT% OFF DEF RPG APG SPG BPG TO PF PPG
    28.2 46.9 43.8 80.5 1.20 3.30 4.50 1.4 1.22 .16 .90 1.70 15.1

    Ervin Johnson
MPG FG% 3P% FT% OFF DEF RPG APG SPG BPG TO PF PPG
    17.0 45.2 000 68.2 1.70 2.60 4.30 .3 .49 .91 .49 2.60 2.2

Redd is a Beautiful 3p shooter ,and progress unremittingly,he is 8 years younger than alan houston, and also much cheapness than alan.Ervin Johnson is a Old soldier with the role player, and the 8th pick can take off a pure piont-gard in darft like Kirk Hinrich.

If possibility,we can also trade Francis, mobely and Griffin for McGrady.Hence,we could have salary space to sign a role pf like pj brown, and use the 44th pick draft a bench pf(like Brandon Hunter 6-8 260 PF Ohio Sr)

    Yao Ming(Ervin Johnson )
    Pj Brown (Morris,Brandon Hunter)
    McGrady (Nachbar,Morris)
    Michael Redd (posey)
    Kirk Hinrich (Norris)

My standpoint is main dint appearance is the the most important with rare, and the bench player could transformation according to the main.Do not forget Rice`s contract is the latest year.

i am a Rockets fans from shanghai china, English is bad, and please forgive.

your english is fine, but it looks as if you entered your moniker in a chinese character set (only informing you b/c many of us don't have the character set on our machines, so we just see a bunch of high valued ascii characters).

First of all, neither of those trades work under salary cap restrictions. Secondly, the Bucks would never make that trade anyway.

We should definitely pursue Payton first, and if Payton is definitely available, I'd love to get Redd.

    Cato
    Taylor

    for

    Redd
    Anthony Mason
    Ervin Johnson

I think both teams improve here right? I don't think the numbers match. Houston are sending around 15M, while Redd makes around 5M, Anthony makes around 6M, but Ervin makes around 3. That's 14M while Houston is sending closer to 16M than 15M. They'd have to throw in a player. But I definitely think both teams would make this trade, don't you think?

    Cato/Gadzuric/Haislip
    Taylor/Caffey
    Tim Thomas/Kukoc/Mason
    Cassell/Mason
    Payton/Cassell

    Yao/Ervin Johnson
    Griffin/Anthony Mason
    Posey/Rice/Boki
    Mobley/Redd
    Francis/Moochie

A very intruiging deal could be made with a Rice + Mobley package deal. Those are 2 AMAZING contracts and it's incredible trade bait. If we're able to bring in a good SF, it may eliminate the need to re-sign Posey as well. Another thing that REALLY interests me is how much one season of Anthony Mason could potentially affect Griffin. Hopefully, Mason will get him MUCH tougher (mentally) and will teach him how to play with a mean streak. If we're lucky, he WON'T teach him how to play with little girls, but that's a risk we absolutely SHOULD take.

Thoughts? Any suggestions for a follow up deal?

I dont see the Bucks unloading Mike Redd until they get GP resigned. If he goes no way they trade Redd, hes an up and coming player. Even if GP resigns why would they trade redd? Your right though he is exactly what this team needs, but theres also 28 or so other teams that probaly would want to try to get him I think that somebody would give up more than your offer. Maybe throw in Eddie Griffin or take out the Bucks 8th pick and they might go for it. But with the Salary cap I dont think the Bucks would could nor want to accept the contracts of Taylor and Cato.

    Redd/Johnson for MoT/Cato, I must say that is r****ded, I don't care if there's a pick, we don't need to get younger.

WE could do anything, but the Bucks wouldn't. Taking on Cato and Taylor, they would ABSOLUTELY need Kukoc's expiring contract. In fact, to balance the salaries and give them around 1 or 2M more in cap room, we may have to swap Rice for Kukoc. I don't think anyone wins on that deal since both teams are packed at SF, and both players have expiring contracts, which is their base value.

Ervin Johnson is 36, and Micheal Redd is 24.

Kelvin Cato is 29, and Maurice Taylor is 27.

The average age of the first 2 is higher, and the first 2 have more NBA seasons combined. At their given salaries (and they all have at least 3 years of experience btw), I think ANY team would go for the first 2. There's no lack of experince among these guys. IF ANYTHING, Ervin Johnson and Micheal Redd have been to the playoffs regularly, while MoT and Cato have been to the playoffs a combined ONE or TWO times (and that's only with Cato, when he was a bench warmer in Portland).

Please, be constructive. Don't come in here calling people r****ded when you obviously haven't looked at the facts.

Uh, no offense, but if you ever want a response to a post that mentions you by name, you'll have to come up with something, moniker wise, that is not a pain in the a** to type. At least a response by me.

    Thanks.

The Bucks are rebuilding, but they're not going to give up a player like Redd for our garbage. On top of that, they're getting rid of contracts instead of gaining them. Redd was signed cheap,3.5mill per for like 6 yrs and has already proven his worth. Payton is long gone as well as probably Cassel which is a mistake. They have guys like Mason,Caffey,Johnson and players like that who aretaking up cap room for them. I don't see it happening.

Have no a way to get REDD who is young, not make open to again and very suit the rocket's player .To this, my can mean the regret. Adjustable stanza sex appeal that I arrive the misgiving for the rocket facial plastic surgery. And our player that repetition of current player style, but the demand can not change, and only can change the old player who`s appearance to start dropping.

I'm not sure but I think he is saying the Rockets older players are getting ugly.
Or Redd is a guy he thinks fits in with our younger players, and that we need to get rid of players whose styles are repititious (Francis and Mobely) because the old players wouldn't be as effective if they change their style.
    Did I get it?
