it seems like we are giving up on both these players..alot of speculated trade proposals griff and nachbar are thrown in the mix along with mobley/taylor/rice.....i just hope that we can give a little chance to griff to prove himself,,,,well at least up until trade deadline and havnt seen enough of nachbar to make a decision,,,,,

Griff sucks, it is about time that we get rid of him

Though Nachbar's trade value will not be worth that much and his upside is worth so much more.

In short, keep Nachbar and get rid of the worthless kid

    First of all, it's Eddie....

    G-R-I-F-F-I-N!

Second, why do you guys give up on players so easily and so quickly? Everyone knew the Griffin was a project from Day One. He exceeded expections early and we immediately awarded him the mantle and responsibilities of a 28-year-old player.

Please, breathe in and out a few times. Twenty-year-old Eddie will be the most improved Rocket during the next year, and Nachbar will make everyone wonder why he didn't play last year! That is my prediction and you can re-visit it at the end of next season, which I expect to end in early June.

I hope you're right, because I don't want to pull out my Jefferson-Griffin comparison's again; though, I agree with you on Nachbar

Man give EG a chance...the guy had a sophmore slump. he played great at the end of his rookie year. come on be a bit more optimistic.

Jefferson all but disappeared when the Spurs denied him a lane to the rim and zapped Kidd's passing magic. No. You'd hate Jefferson with a passion if he were a Rocket. RJ can't shoot, just dunk.

I still see a lot of upside in a kid that still needs to physically grow a little bit. If you would have told me 2 years ago that we would have a kid that at the age of 20 would average about 9 pts and 6 boards a game, I'd be pretty happy. People expected too much too soon from him. If he can average about 12-15 pts, around 10 boards and 2.5 blks a game for this Rockets team, I think he'll be the perfect compliment to Yao and SF. He doesn't need to be the next KG to be successful.

yeah for real we cant give up on EG yet. if we trade him, i can just see us regretting it in like 5 years when he's an all-star. ok so maybe not an all star, but at least a decent contributor to a team. Jefferson would be just like griffin if he didnt have kidd, no doubt. h

How long is it going to take before we get the whole board on the same page with the spelling of this guy's name. Not that hard guys... no "e's" at all.

I thank GRIFFIN will improve some this year and a WHOLE lot in his fourth year if he doesn't then it will be time to talk about trading him. If some of the quick to trade fanatics get your way we will trade him to soon and he will come back to haunt us.
I doubt that his trade value now is worth more then filler and if he shows any improvment at all he will be worth more. Lets not just throw away those 3 1st round draft picks we spent for him .

if griffin doesn't improve this upcoming year it will be time to move him... if he still has any value. if he doesn't improve at all, which he didn't last year, he'll be a first ballot entry into the Rockets bust hall of fame. forget about the fourth year. guys like j o'neal improved every year. i'm hoping he turns it around and finds someone to help him with his awful jumpshot.

dude needs to eat more too.
