    Getting embarrassed in the 1st round of the playoffs while having HCA is exceeded expectations?

    McHale is just a muppet head coach there as a "yes" man to Morey. An incompetent clueless head clown who embarrassed the entire Rockets franchise and history of this great organization by his pathetic coaching or lack thereof. Out coached by Terry Stotts? Gimme a break. He is amont the worst coaches in the NbA if not the worst and that is no secret.

    I was a Rockets fan lllong before DM became GM and I will be a Rockets fan post DM. I love DM the GM but hate DM the Coach/Basket ball "guru"/bball philosopher. For MOFs - they will follow him to whatever sports franchise he manages next. I will always be a ROF. Sad to see this group of people worshipping a "basket ball mind" who never played/coached professional basket ball at ANY level. Sad.

    I don't think there's anyone here who worships DM "the basket ball mind". That shouldn't happen until the Rockets win bigger in the postseason. His theories are interesting, but all unproven at the moment.

    Worshippers like me are impressed with him for his roster management skill. Given the pieces he has had, he has unarguably done an incredible job getting us Dwight & Harden, and also getting the role players we had back in 2008-2009.

    This is what I don't get.

    His basketball theories are very, very similar to some teams are doing including the spurs.

    The Spurs are all about efficiency. Open 3s, layups and free throws. They go about getting their shots differently, but what Morey wants is to primarily take those same shots.

    I'm pretty sure it was Goldsberry who wrote an article after this season breaking down how we just watched a finals that would basically be Moreys wet dream. And it highlighted how the league as a whole is shifting to taking more 3s. Morey and some other are just ahead of the curve.

    I'm the first JR. (No )period(s).

    This was serious. The roster is fine. Chandler's prettier than Trevor but I'll take the better defender. A couple of enforcer types in Adrien & Dorsey, a potential rotation guy in the Greek and a bunch of shooting off the bench.

    If players have bad habits, shouldn't the coach figure it out before losing in the playoffs to a vastly inferior team (as indicated by the stomping they got from SA)?

    Terry Stotts b****-slapped McHale in the first round. The team fell apart after Sampson left. Not replacing McHale was the biggest fail of the offseason.

    Talk to you guys in April.
