so can Novak say he is a 15.4 ppg career scorer going with 4.4 ast?

Terry is 2 years removed from a 15.1 ppg season and 13.8 ppg postseason.

The difference is Terry's worst is probably Novak's best season.

He is or was a scorer (2nd or 3rd option in prime) whereas Novak is a pure shooter.

Lin & Harden were doing crossover/stepback 3's with coaches hands in their face and doing 80%... this guy is just staying still.

They would also do a drill of (around the world) at the 3 (like 3pt contest) and shoot 5 at each spot, and would go on 7-12 streaks in a row a few times in a set.

Need to mix in a red white and blue money ball every five shots and see how they do.

I am not a Terry fan but I do realize who the better 3 point shooter in games is.

38% over 15 seasons or 37% over 5 seasons by Harden?

You could argue that they are about the same but in fact Terry has done it over almost 2 decades.
He should be having nothing to prove in terms of 3 point shooting but in other areas.

Getting to the basket, off ball movement, Help defense, rebounding, stealing ... overall Bball skills are to be watched over time

He just doesn't miss when he's in the Toyota Center.

I love that Morey has finally gone out of his way to get some elite 3-point shooters on his roster this offseason. If you're going to embrace the "paint or 3-point line" mindset, you need the right personnel to do so. This should be a much better 3-point shooting team this year.

Hopefully he can give us 10-15 minutes of solid shooting most nights, once he regains his stamina and strength.

Agree, but would add injuries are what usually stop these guys. If we can limit his minutes during the season, keep him healthy and then unleash him for a few more minutes in the play-offs he could be deadly for us.

Reminds me of Eddie Johnson. Johnson was a long time Rockets Killer who came to the team at the end if his career. He knocked down some big shots for the Rockets in the playoffs.

I want him to hit the GW shot against the Mavs. Poetic Justice!

That would be sweet, or Ariza hitting it in Parsons' face

Yes he did. EJ went off in second half of game 3 against Utah, and I believe hit the game winner in game 4 against Utah.

One player doesn't belong in this trio: Lin, Terry, and Harden.

As long as he doesn't start shooting threes, like Parsons shot layups in the Portland series--we'll be fine.
