ok, for anyone that's a contender, this is for you. I am looking to trade JD Drew (GBG, 8 in hits and 10 in homers aganst RHP) to a contender. He is 37 years old, but his contract only lasts through next season, so you won't be stuck with a bad contract after he stops producing. He has at least two great years left. I understand that for 2-3 great years won't net me a superb prospect, but I'm not looking for one. I'm looking for a pretty good young player or two at OF, middle infield, and maybe SP. If you're interested in making a run this year or next, let me know asap... if I don't trade Drew at the beginning of this season, I will keep him. good, young relievers such as Ray Pizarro (GGAB) could also be had for free if you're willing to take Erubiel Durazo (he's not that good now, but he makes 7 mil and he's in the last year of his deal) with him. like I said, I'd just like to rid myself of that deal since I have several players up for extensions. if you're a team that has a payroll way under budget, it is a way to get a good reliever for nothing. my email is SlamDuncan2121@aol.com, or you can catch me in chat.
Okay, I have some guys in AAA in Buford Flowers and Armand Gelinas that will be ready for the majors before too long, so with that in mind, I am putting Adrian Gonzalez on the market. He is a good in hits with average in homers first baseman in the last year of a modest contract. Last season he hit over 30 homers. I really need a SP that is better than Eddie Milner and Gonzalo Lopez and has a 6 in avoiding runs. I would prefer that he doesn't have a huge contract. Expiring contracts would be okay. Prospects are also welcomed. Let me know if you are interested.
Okay, I need a good young SS, one that has the potential to be good, definitely better than either Moore or Ward. So, I am going to go ahead and put Bill Bruch on the block. He is my best reliever, so for those who need bullpen help, get me a SS prospect ranked in the top 100 prospects of the game and he *can* be yours.
I have a glut of starting Pitchers. I will be willing to part with Aaron Harang or Robert Stahl for the low low price of a back IF and cash or prospects.
SF wants a good centerfielder and a cheap middle infielder, perferably a ss, have extra pitching to trade. Willing to look at package deals btw
Who wants to give me a 2B that's better than Keven Calabrese for Mike Kriner? Edit: Kriner and Curtis Kish if need be. Edit II: By "Who wants to give me a 2B that's better than Keven Calabrese," I mean "Buck88 wants to give me Ricardo Mejia." Edit III: Please?
I honestly don't know what you consider your team's weaknesses to be, but from what I see, you'd need a replacement 2B, a 3B if you don't think Aybar can keep up his pace, maybe an OF, and/or some pitching. I can give you any of Curtis Kish, who's young and can play three infield spots; Keneth Hutt, a fantastic defensive 3B who mashes lefties; or perhaps Mike Kriner, a powerful and great defensive LF who can also play CF in a pinch. If you prefer speed and versatility in your outfielders, you could have Albert Collado, who is 31 but an excellent base-stealer, a good OBP guy, and can play any of the outfield positions with equal ease. Pitching-wise, you could get Edward Braddock, a talented 26 year old SP. Maybe Seth Butler, who's one of the best middle relievers in the league. If you like him, Louis Grassi is also available, talented but late-blooming closer. Prospects like Frank Pritchard, Matthew Stamm, Pedro Frisina, and Mike Hudson are also available if you like the younger guys. Those are the guys who I consider to be available. I really like Mejia and I'm sure that if you want some of the guys I've mentioned we could work something out. Just let me know which ones you are interested in and I'll try to put something together. I'm the Pirates, by the way, if you didn't know that already. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. You could have Edmundo Encarnacion too, if you wanted. Second-highest reliever on my ratings report and younger than Butler.
My entire A's Major League team is up for grabs. All I want are prospects for these guys. If interested in any of them, drop me an e-mail or talk to me in chat. That is all...
Well my season is efffectively over now that Williams is out for the year and Borchard for 5 weeks. I think that I willput anyone on my roster up. However, I am not having a wholesale. If you want some of my better players your going to have to give equal value. Feel free to make offers here, email, chat whatever. CK
BGM, I'm interested in your closer, Johnson. Plenty of young players to choose from, let me know if you see anything you like. and Castor, not sure how available your closer is, but let me know if there is a way I can get him.
As new owner of the 'Stros I'm looking to make some changes myself. I'm doing pretty well so I'm not looking for prospects but I'm open to all trade offers.
Buck, You really should take a look at my Oakland team. I'm offering up pretty much my entire 25 man roster. You have some room on your payroll to add a piece or two. Let me know if you like anyone...
I'll do that BGM. I'll take a look this afternoon/tonight and I'll most likely make some kind of offer tomorrow. I know your looking for prospects/younger players so take a look and if you have any ideas drop me a line this afternoon on a few players as a base for trades. I'm also in the process of talks with Zac D.
I like Beamer and Brumit. Let me know what it takes (if anything) to get either (or perhaps) both of them.
I will trade just about anything but prospects...I'm looking to trade for 18-27 year old players ranging between prospects and current major league players...Garrard, Choi, Dunn, and others are on the block if you're interested. In some cases, I can take an older player in a trade, but I don't want to go over 31 years old.
I'm needing some outfield and 3B help and Brumit, Toms, Beamer, hell I'm pretty much open to all offers for prospects. I'm really looking for package deal as I'd like to get a few holes filled in one trade, or at least make it possible to turn around and get a hole filled.
