Well I feel like knee jerking... but a crappy game by LFC is pretty much expected now. No offensive spark nor creativity at all and I haven't been entertained this season by Liverpool. They can't score much and they can't defend, sounds like a team destined for 7-8th spot. Rodgers has his "quantity over quality" to spread over champions, league cups, and league games... now he has to go out and get actual great players come January.

With regards to this game, at least that was a damn good kick by Jagielka that no keeper could have stopped. Still though, we need to stop playing down to our opponents and try to out-suck everyone.

Oh well... on to the next game and mediocre performance. and nice free kick to el capitan.

He'd show up, but he was too busy eating grass. Must have really slippery cleats.

Sturridge was supposed to be back, but I guess Rodgers wasn't confident in his health.

I had to work, but from what I read fromm play by play, is we played a whole lot better.

Balo will break out,but we need Sturridge first, they can play really well together. The Next Champions league game I feel like will be our breakout point I feel everyone will finally get in to good form at once and we will finally start seeing W's.

Sakho apparently left early, one thing that is bothering me is BR seems to have favorites, IMO Lovren has been a main reason why our defense is still leaky, and Sakho seems to be the only one singled out,IMO Skrtel and Sakho is a better partnership.

Messi scored his 400th goal. Now 4 away from breaking Liga's all time record.

Yeah Rodgers clearly has favorites and would rather play the players he likes rather than the clear better players. It's frustrating, definitely.

I'm not too confident that Balo, nor the other players, will have a breakout soon. It seems we've (or more like just me) been saying that the team will find the confidence and be banging in goals very soon. However the reality is that we'll probably be stuck in second gear for quite a while. The team hasn't played "Rodgers ball" this season and they look lackadaisical and confused more often than not, especially in defense. Weird that we've gotten worse on defense with our "upgraded" roster at the back.

If Balo would stop spending most of his energy diving and start bullying defenders with his size, he'd be a threat. He has the on-ball skill to be dangerous.

Maybe part of the problem is that we have too many new players to break in and that usually takes time. But the only players from last year to show up is Sterling and Hendo. Cou seems lost, like the rest of the team. Mignolet seems to have regressed. Reina would have been great if he only had his head right.

Any news on our "other" strikers? Why haven't Rodgers played 2 up front with Balo and the other guys? At the very least, they'll help feed Balo the ball in the box.

    Rodgers quit being so stubborn.

The own goal was one in a million type event, I would not blame the dude for that, just plain bad luck. The penalty he gave up though was silly, though he's known to make mistakes like that once in a while. He's 23 and he's playing beside Komoany ...one of the best in the game, hell learn to control his athletic gifts better. Dudes still a beast.

No word from the Barca guys hehe?

Knew their defense is way too bad to win anything significant this season, don't get fooled by their league stats. Seen some games and the defensive line is really inconsistent and has horrible lapses, good teams will abuse it.

Btw Bayern are looking like Spain 2010 or old Milan these days.
    1:0, 1:0, 1:0,...
But prefer a safe 1:0 over something like a 3:2, glad our defense is becoming better. Benatia needs more time though, out of position on a few occasions and nearly led to goals against us.

Whoever posted earlier that Benatia is better than Bayern's other defenders was completely wrong. I have seen and heard enough. He is ok as a backup, but Badstuber (when healthy), Boateng, Martinez (when healthy) and even Dante are clearly better than Benatia. And it's not even close.

Heard he's not close to 100% physical-wise right now, so I'll give him some more time before judging. He looked great in the Serie A vids I saw and heard only great things from Roma fans.

    Maybe a 4:3 vs. Barca.

Lovren is lost out there, no wonder Sakho is pissed lol.

Lovren must have nudes of BRs wife or something.
