We ride together, we die together. And finally #WePlowTogether Phil Ivy has moved all-in and the crowd is on their feet.
Absolutely silly for you to reply in that matter. If I remember correctly, cyberx has supplied this forum with much more detail than you. Much less, he has never given a deadline - simply giving us what he hears from the field. Do me a favor, if you're trying to ran someone off, just walk away yourself.
Lol hilarious. The second we showed interest in this guy I already knew this would happen. I hope myself and others are wrong about this though. In my eyes Ariza is just a contract year only type player and likes to coast easily the other years.
I disagree. If you break down his stats on a per possession basis, they are very similar throughout the years. The main thing that has changed is that he's improved his 3-point shooting each season over the past 3 years. So he's gotten more efficient. If you just look at his stats, their deceiving because he's played different roles on different teams which affects his numbers per game.
I do agree with what Cyberx was getting at with Ariza. The masses here are going to expect greatness just because he was the major free agent acquisition, but the truth is last year Ariza had a great contract year. However over his career he's shown that the performance he gave (especially shooting the ball) is a bit more than you should expect. Me personally, I'll be happy with a major improvement on the defensive end, and some good quality 3 point shooting. I'm not expecting much if any playmaking abilities cause that's just not Trevor. The peanut gallery loves to pick on one guy here or there or the coach more or less because the team isn't on par with the Spurs or the Heat/now Cavs. The truth is, the team had a flawed roster last year, and has a differently flawed roster this year. Nobody outside of the GARM is picking the Rockets to win anything. Maybe they make a deal here and there LATER in the season, but its more likely they don't majorly upgrade their talent level for some time. Its just incredibly hard to make that jump up without taking a huge gamble on absorbing bad/big contracts (like the Nets did last year), and risking destroying your teams rebuilding flexibility years down the road. It is what it is, but try to enjoy the basketball if you can. If you can't enjoy basketball without your team winning 65 games a year and a finals appearance every year just become a bandwagon fan elsewhere. It makes life easier on everyone.
