Which makes perfect sense. Ah well, back to the drawing board for Morey and Co. All this Reggie Jackson talk is making me want Mr. October more.
hardens not a pg either lol, but I think you get what I was saying. Morey is a funny guy, he wants a team to shoot the most 3s in the NBA, gets a post up center and drafts a PF/C in the 1st round who has NO jump shot at all, and signs another PF that cant shoot. Guys who belive morey is the best what is he doing ?? and why all this talk about a PG lately a few months ago 80% of the board was saying Bev was perfect fit with Harden, Harden needs ball in his hands etc, now we have 500+ pages about hoping praying for a PG ? feels good to be right, now that every ones on board... What happened ?
Bledsoe, if he stays healthy, will wind up niiiiiiiiiiice trade bait for the Suns to dangle. As far as the Rockets? Trade before the season? Rondo or Rubio. Trade during the season? Back to the PG carousel. Nothing that's occurred proves you're right or wrong. Morey wound up with Harden and then Howard. If the Heat hadn't thrown money at Bosh, you'd be calling Morey a genius right now. He had to go back to the long game. Why would he go the PG route? I don't know. Maybe because none of our players are experts at getting a pass into the post, thus negating one of our stars.
That appears to be the case. Time to move on, I think. Still curious about who we would pursue of the extension eligible players.
Never believed we were getting Dragic anyway. Or Rondo. Or Rubio. This is the squad we're rolling with. Deal with it.
This hoarding of play making guards reminds me a lot of the Rockets a few years back...and how they kept collecting SFs. Penix Suns Starting 5: Goran - PG Bledsoe - SG Green - SF Markief Morris - PF Plumlee - C
Right now I would look for a decent PF and wait for the Dam to break around the all-star break for the pg. Hopefully Morey plays it smart and not do a desperate move. T_Man
I still think Morey should look at Ersan Ilyasova. Had a down year on a bad Bucks team. Would be a good fit next to Dwight. Good rebounder and 3pt shooter. 2014-2015 7,900,000 2015-2016 7,900,000 2016-2017 non-guaranteed 8,400,000 ($400,000 guaranteed)
I remember when people were saying that when we got Zoran on our summer team and dragic signed with Phoenix
That worked out for Houston when we brought in Zoran for the Summer League team during Goran's free agency.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Zoran Dragic's agent informed Unicaja Malaga that his player going to Phoenix Suns, per source.</p>— Can Pelister (@HCanPelister) <a href="https://twitter.com/HCanPelister/status/515142744906682370">September 25, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> Drew strikes out again...
So, is this considered a nail in the coffin, that dragic will stay in Pheonix ? Or this is all smoke and mirrors ? I don't know how to soak all this in. Going to watch SOA
