Lacy is going to bounce back IMO. GB's offense outside of Cobb has been a disappointment but I genuinely feel like they'll get back on track. Sanders is a PPR stud. I'd actually consider that trade for Bryant depending on the team's record and roster makeup. Bryant is definitely going to have more TD's than either Lacy or Sanders though. In my money PPR league I own Lacy, Bryant and Sanders
To answer your first question, I'd definitely stay away from Bridgewater in his 1st NFL start. (Not hating ability, just his 1st start is just too dangerous) As for your 2nd question I think its an ok trade. Ball's potential is pretty high up there, but he obviously hasn't performed. If its ppr then I do it. If not then I probably try to get something better than Julian Edelman.
Not sure why you're carrying 2 TE's, especially one that's mediocre and always hurt??? How big is the league? Because I can't imagine that you have to resort to trading for Ben Roethlisberger. But if it is a large league, then I'd need to see the rest of the roster
I hate to say it, it I think our run defense is so shaky, that Fred Jackson could have a relatively big game. And I wouldn't trust Matt Asiata for nothing...they don't even want him to be the starter.
I can't believe this but I am seriously considering starting Matt Asiata over Rashad Jennings. Jennings has been great, but he's playing on a short week on the road against a Redskins defense that ranks #2 against RBs and held LeSean McCoy to 22 yards on 19 carries last week. I really need to win this week and that matchup just scares me. Asiata on the other hand is going up against a Falcons defense that is yielding 36 PPG to RBs or something like that. They are 2nd worst in the league, only next to Dallas. Even when they blew out the Bucs last week, the Buc RBs still went off fantasy wise. Anyone who remembers Ron Dayne's career day against the Colts at home knows that bad run defenses almost always yield decent results even with mediocre RBs. So there's my thinking. Am I crazy?
I would consider doing the deal in a PPR, but only if you need the help at RB. Eddie Lacy is about to go off. This is a classic buy low trade and could pay off big time.
You're not crazy at all. To be honest, you'd be crazy NOT to consider it. It's a divisional game, short week, on the road, all the makings of a down week. (Granted, crazy things have happened on Thursday's) but I just don't see it. I do think that Jennings' ceiling is a lot lower than Asiata's, but Asiata's floor is alot lower than his as well. I think it's truly a toss-up, but I'd lean ever so slightly towards Asiata.
I don't like Teddy. I see a guy who is going to dink and dunk. Patterson cant run routes. Maybe he breaks some screens? Bortles playing from 35 behind every 2nd half with Gerhart getting .04ypc - I can see Bortles chucking the ball for 30 yard gains, him I can see upside in. Bridgewater, in fantasy, don't see it.
Kelvin Benjamin against bad pass defense, or Steve Smith going against former team at home? I'm leaning veteran over rookie right now....thoughts?
