It doesn't make a difference who the Democrats nominate. If they won't fight back, they'll get swept. Hell, they WON in 2000 and didn't even fight. By virtually any standard applied, Bush has been an absolute disaster for this country. But the Democrats haven't gotten off their knees long enough to notice that the idiot's not wearing any clothes. Until this changes, nothing else will.
I just hope Kerry doesn't take service to his country too far(don't want it to backfire on him)...I love the fact he is a decorated Vet that speaks out against wonton milatarisim. He should, and will, play-up his service to his country--especialy since dubbya's daddy kept him out of the Vietnam"mess". Conversely, Gore should have played up the fact that he volunteered to fight in Vietnam.
I want Sharpton to run. He would take a big chunk of the Democratic candidate's votes. I think Bush would do fine with Kerry. Just like with Al Gore, he will try to emphasize his personality and ability to connect with people. From what I've read, Kerry is somewhat self- involved and egotistical. Gephardt is more of an old- school politician, he knows the game inside and out.
