Yes Im talking about Jason Collier. Last night versus the Knicks he really sucked in his rebounds. He couldnt get any position for the rebound and maybe someone should tell him he needs to jump to get rebounds, not stand and wait for the ball to get in your hand. ------------------ President of the Moochie Norris fan club.
What a surprise! One bad game and Francis3 jumps off the bandwagon, resigning his Vice Presidency as fan club president. The guy TORE LIGAMENTS IN HIS KNEE SIX WEEKS AGO!! He has made a return WAY ahead of schedule, but is still not 100% and not near in proper conditioning. Give the damn guy a chance to get fully healthy before you get on him. He led the ACC, the toughest conference in college hoops, in rebounding, and he didn't do that by just standing there. He may not have been completely ready, but I'm sure Rudy wanted to try him out, seeing as how we have no true centers available now. You can't blame him for trying Collier with the lack of big men we have now. I beleive Collier's game fits in with the rest of the team very well. Whenever Francis or Mooch penetrates, he will be there to hit a 15 footer or crash the boards. A lot like Antoine Carr was in Utah, although he didnt rebound much. Cato on the other hand will be there on the penetrations, but he'll only make about 1/15 shots and hardly ever get the O-rebound. ------------------
I think no injured player would be 100% ready in the 1st couple games. You have to actually play to get into game shape. If I'm right, then the "if he is not ready , he shouldn't play" statement is not valid here. Welcome back, Jason! ------------------

"White men can't jump"? That's not true, I'm white & I can jump. The only problem with jumping that I have is that the direction is usually down, as in jumping off a table, a chair, a short pier, a ....., well, you get the idea. Depending on how tall the building is, I have an unbelievable vertical leap. I think that all white men have the ability to jump & have just not been encouraged to go for it. Maybe, if they played basketball upside down, white men could make the highlight reels or maybe, I should just shut up & move on to another thread. ------------------

All I care about is that Mo Taylor does not get in foul trouble. I hope at least last night he learned his lesson. He messed up his game with all those stupid fouls that got him on the bench. If Mo could start blocking some shots and playing good low-post and perimeter defense, he would be a really decent player for our ballclub. Until then, Mo, when the other team gets the rebound, do not push, reach, or touch them. Especially with 9:48 left on the clock in the first quarter.
