    good point. GM was going out of business for a reason. When the government saves a POS company, expect bad results.

    Corporation may not have a physical body, but have human rights and protections under the law with less liability.

    If they have different rights than people and different liabilities than people - whether more or less - then they aren't people. Corporations exist for a logical reason to make our economy work. There have to be rules that apply to them. Just because some of the rules are the same for both corporations and people does not make them people. Have we moved towards giving them too many "rights" that are unnecessary and possibly counterproductive for the concept of a corporation? Almost definitely. But that doesn't make them people.
