maybe this is a fluke due to Knicks being small and our big men being in foul trouble, but last April showed similar numbers (Shandon clocked 39 mins in the last 20 games): Mobley 48min Francis 44min Shandon 38min They all can do it. They definitely were fresh for defense at the end, no doubt about that. I say we are one Shandon-in-Cato's body away (plus 1-2 yrs more experience) from 55 wins, if that 3 guard line-up can really stay fresh when clocking big minutes. I don't see why we need a star small forward, especially since "Langhi is a gem". I want in the paint defense.
Remember how the team didn't hit stride until late January last year? That's when the three guards started to really destroy everybody, due to the hot shooting of Wiz. I wonder if we're about to see the same thing again this year. Francis starts dominating, the team puts up a win streak... I'll stop there; don't want to jinx it. I have never, ever, ever seen Mobley put up 48 minutes. Certainly never last year. Man. Why has Rudy waited until now to put Mobes into the Starting lineup? What convinced him? ------------------
I would be happy with a defensive center as long as he could also catch the ball and hit his free throws. ------------------
Shandon-in-Cato's body!! Good one HP!! Unfortunately as time goes on, I think that may be too much to ask of Cato. Hopefully I am wrong because I love the excitement he brings to the Rockets game when he does play. ------------------ Go vote for Steve Francis for the All-Star game!! You only have until Sunday!! Vote for Francis!
