Keep in mind that this is conducted by USA Today. There might be a little nationalistic pride.

I clicked on the thread because I was shocked that OKC had built more then one building in the 2 years since I was last there. Dallas has a fine skyline but they aren't #1, that's just stupid.

Seeing Austin's skyline belting over the trees on Lamar is something I've grown partial to. Duck Fallas.

Austin was so much better when it didn't really have a skyline.

I recently went to St. Louis and Chicago. St. Louis is not good. Chicago is not better than New York. I agree with placing New York near the top, then Dubai and some Asian cities, then Chicago.

NYC's skyline is very large but on the whole because of that it's mostly mundane and dull. There are some iconic buildings but they look outdated now.

Chicago's skyline is better, I prefer the architecture overall, and the iconic buildings (Willis Tower, Hancock) have designs that are still modern.

I like Chicago's better. It's more aesthetically pleasing. New York's is nice, but it's too many buildings crammed together to give that same effect.
