I ended up canceling my Space Grey iPhone 6+ to go with the Silver/White. That VERGE review sold it. I will gladly wait another 2 weeks to get the CORRECT color after having a black screen ever since 2007, it's time for a change.
Why did you bring up a black screen in relation to the color of the case around it? I don't see the connection or if there's any review or news in regards to a black screen. I thought they were all the same color on any color case.
black screen only comes on the space grey. If he wants a white screen he has to go for silver or gold. on another note, if you are getting an iphone on t-mobile you can call in and get the personal celspot w/o the 25 dollar deposit. Verizon customers, if your upgrade date is on or before Nov 15 you're now immediately eligible to upgrade to a new phone. Including the new iPhones, Androids, etc. Doesn't really help me because I'm not eligible until Jan, but I thought I'd pass it along. LINK
iOS 8 hitting today...wonder what time it's gonna be available. I have been watching some of the review videos and it looks like it finally added some features that have been around for a while.

Not necessarily - in the past plenty have been overnighted on Thursday. Just my experience - mine is still prepping for shipment for 9/19 delivery.
I just tried to use a third party keyboard, downloaded Swiftkey, but nothing in the General->Keyboard settings to change the keyboard! so disappointed
Ok, I dont get this... On my iPad, it says I need 6.9 GB of space to download iOS 8.0. I have 4.2 GB of space after deleting about 20 apps, all my email accounts, my photostream, etc... There is almost no possible way for me to delete all the content necessary for me to get to that number. It's a 16 GB iPad...and if I do want to get enough memory to be able to download it, I would literally be abolishing everything that I use on a daily basis. WTF is this crap?
To be honest, I downloaded it on my 4s (waiting on my 6s to show up Friday) and in all honesty it isn't that much different. I haven't looked into it thoroughly yet. It could be different for an iPad though.
Connect it to your computer and update through iTunes. Doesn't require nearly as much free space that way.
Ya I just downloaded it for the 5S...and there's just subtle changes here and there. Unless you're in dying need of a certain feature, there's no need to run and download it.
Ugh..forgot to say...the actual download is only 1.1gb...but apparently it needs a lot of free space to extract and install it.
Now mine says "preparing to ship" but the shipping date is still 10/2-10/13. How long could it take to prepare to ship???
