Under 40% shooting for both teams Knicks missed their final six shots Three clanks from the FT line by the Rockets in the closing minutes 20 turnovers by Houston Ahhh....that takes me back to the GOOD OLE' days of the '94 Finals Couple more notes: From the "stats don't tell the whole story" department, Mo Taylor didn't have many rebounds, but he had the most important one on that Knicks miss before the game winning shot by Cat... Also, not to take anything away from Cat, but It was Steve that started the 4th Quarter comeback with a 3 pointer when Houston was down by ten, and also had a clutch jumper a couple possessions later... ------------------ If you don't eat your meat, you can't have any pudding!!
It was a team effort, it wasn't one player that got us this win, it was the team collectively. It worked both way, Mobley may not have got a chance to win the game if Francis doesn't have that great game, but Francis great 4th quarter wouldn't have meant much if Mobley doesn't hit the shot so it was a team effort. ------------------ "I have a scale at home and it only goes up so far, I love that scale!" - Charles Barkley TNT Studios
Something I thought was interesting . . . CNNSI had a caption on a pic of Charlie Ward guarding Francis and it said that "Charlie Ward held Steve Francis in check" When I saw that, I went "WTF!??, Francis almost had a triple double!" hehe, they must've realized their oversight because now they are finally giving stevie his props. ------------------ "Any answer that can't be questioned is no answer at all.
