I went from home to third and back to home. We don't dilly-dally.

Nice! I was at some old bar called The Dugout on 6 just north of Westheimer. Have no idea what's there now.

WAY WAY early to be claiming Altuve a great player.
He's having a great yr, but a great yr doesn't make him a great player. Before this season he hit .276, 290, and .283.

Let's see what he does the next 8-10 yrs before claiming him great.

Man that word gets thrown around WAY too much in my opinion.

I guess the 3rd base coach waived you in.

More like the first base coach new I didn't have time to round the bases since our kiddo was playing next door and he just told me to skip first and second.

I'm still laughing at the OP mentioning Burke.

Also...because why the hell not, Rafael Landestoy.

Not to mention the (recently) late great Joe Pittman. One of my all-time favorites...

The St. Louis Cardinals would say no.

    From 1910-1955:
    1. Miller Huggins
    2. Rogers Hornsby
    3. Frankie Frisch
    4. Red Schoendist

    Forget 2B. CF, baby.

Tony "70s 'fro in the 80s" Scott. Gerald "basket-catch-at-the-waste" Young. Roger ''flash in the pan" Cedeno. Derek "Operation Shutdown" Bell (wasn't he RF though?). Jordan Schafer. Tuffy "near-record-breaker" Rhodes. Glen "Genius" Barker.

    Beat that, suckas.

Bell started out in CF and played it periodically. It was Brian "fastest-guy-youve-ever-seen-i-promise" Hunter that pushed him to his better position, if I remember right..

    Also + John "can-pitch-in-a-pinch" Cangelosi

He was an all-star twice as an Astro, to be exact.
