There's a small chance that Dorsey could provide defense and rebounding at the backup center position, which is something the Rockets need.

There is no chance this team needs an inefficient, defensively challenged power forward with a higher career usage than Dwight Howard.

In CV's best year he averaged 16 and 8. So that begs the question Would it be that unrealistic for TJ to average 4 more ppg and 1 more rpg next year?

Joey Dorsey's usage will alwayz be low because he'll foul out within the 5-7 minutes he's in the game. If you're comparing the better NBA player, it's Charlie V hands down. I'm not sure we can even refer to Dorsey as a "NBA" player anyway:rolleyes:

Doesn't sound like you know what usage means. Kind of what I'd expect from someone who says goofy things like Dorsey will foul out in 5-7 minutes.

Dude bottom line, Joey Dorsey SUCKS! Charlie V brings more to the table. Both may not end up contributing much. But to imply we shouldn't have wasted time on Charlie V, but defend bringing back Joey Dorsey, is just laughable. Joey Dorsey is trash

Charlie Villanueva does not bring anything to the table. He does not play defense. He does not rebound. He is a 34% 3pt shooter who thinks he is Ray Allen. Putting him on the court actively hurts the team.

Joey Dorsey may well not have improved in Europe. He may still be useless. Villanueva has proven beyond doubt that he is useless.

Charlie V's best year was 16pts & 8rebs. Joey Dorsey's best year was 3pts & 2rebs. There a different levels of sucking, and I don't think you understand this. The point is, ANYBODY is a upgrade over Joey Dorsey.

If we were Philadelphia, Charlie would be perfect. He could go out there and take a lot of shots, and guarantee a win total under 20. Since we are a team that is trying to win, we aren't doing that. Even Detroit, who never won more than 30 games while he was there, finally figured out that he can't help them.

Just for the sake of accuracy, these are the actual numbers you were looking for:

    Charlie 08-09 season 16.2pts 6.7 reb
    Dorsey 10-11 season 3.1pts 4.4 reb

This stuff is all over the internet. You could take the time to actually go look it up instead of just guesstimating.

I want bass expiring for Lins TPE, we will have his rights & if we get a solid offensive point guard in future that can play D as well, we will be one of the best defensive teams in the league and high ranking on offense.

The arguments discrediting Joey Dorsey are similar to the arguments used against the Chuckwagon before everybody realized how valuable he really was. Just saying.

I'll take the team-first junkyard dawg type of player over the "talented" flake just about any day of the week.

If we were Philadelphia? Lmao. Exactly what team is Joey Dorsey perfect for? Apparently no NBA team outside of the Rockets, because he hasn't been on a NBA roster for awhile.

My numbers were slightly off lol. So what? Charlie V is STILL a upgrade over Joey Dorsey. That's all my point is. If you think Charlie V's a scrub we shouldn't have signed, then how disappointed are you we signed someone FAR worse than him? Where's the balance?

Stop replying to the troll. When he is using us not signing CHARLIE V as a reason to bash Morey then you know he is a troll.

Charlie V won't even make the Mavericks roster I bet.

You're really pissed about Morey passing up on Charlie V?

Man, the offseason must've really pissed you off.

Joey Dorsey was the best defender in Europe, and that's nothing to just sneeze at imo. I'm glad we have him as a back-up center who will have to compete for minutes with D-Mo.
