Consecutive Sneezing: How many on average?

I think youve been reading too many YoYao threads.

 

Usually 3 for me.

I love a good sneeze.

 

When someone sneezes, instead of saying "god bless you", you should say "you are sooooooo good lookin!!!".

Lately thanks to a sinus infection and allergies, I ALWAYS wind up sneezing like at least 5 times in a row per day.

One day while driving home from work, I sneezed like 20 times in a minute. I seriously thought I was going to wreck...that is how bad it was.

 

I've been having some allergy issues too lately...Could it be a Middle Tennessean thing Manny?

4 or 5 consecutives is usually a string for me.

Has anyone ever done research on a correlation between the average number of times someone sneezes and how often someone can "do it" (uh-huh-huh)?

Now that would be a subject for a doctoral thesis...

 

Once, and only once.

But I've seen people sneeze 11 times in a row counting on their fingers how many times they sneezed. Seeing someone's eyes light up in amazement over something like this is just too funny.

 

Well, why didn't you vote for 3 in the poll? Raven is trying to do a SCIENTIFIC STUDY you know, and you can't fight science.

 

Usually 2 for me, but lately, Ive been hitting 4 on a regular basis. Its really a pain in the ass compared to just sneezing twice.

I'm usually twice. My dad is a three timer himself...

 

I'd never really thought about this before, and at first was thinking that this was a really stupid thread. Afterall, most people do only sneeze once. Then I sat here at my computer and thought about it, realizing that I do normally sneeze twice. That's odd, something that I'd just never really noticed.

I've been having horrible allergies lately too and I'm in Washington State... I usually sneeze three times consecutively except early in the morning when it might be 5-8 times before I get some relief. It sucks..

My older brother suggested that I try some natural immunity builders so I've been taking Bee Pollen and Echinasia (sp?) for the last week and a half. I haven't noticed any change in (I just sneezed 3 times!) my allergies yet, but I'm hoping this will work. Has anyone else tried any homeopathic or natural remedies with any success?

 

Most of the time, I'll sneeze once, but I have had occasions where I sneezed twice. I don't think I've ever sneezed more than twice in a row, though. Some of my family though, like my mom, can sneeze like 4 or 5 times in a row, or even more. I never could understand how she did that.

 

I usually sneeze three times in a row but sometimes up to 5 times in a row.
