I saw this big one in my house. The size of a quarter. I sprayed it and 40 babies jumped off and tried to run but they all died. My wife and I both looked at each other in shock. Who wants 41 spiders in their house?
I got a chuckle from this. A quarter? When I was about 5 years old, I was with a group of kids spending the night in a treehouse the father of one of the boys had built. There were seven or eight of us. Guys were going up and down this tree all the time. Well, around 10pm a kid comes out of the garage and into the backyard yelling his head off, "There's a giant spider in the garage!!" Naturally, we all bailed out of the tree and towards the garage, and in the middle of the floor was a tarantula the size of a salad plate. It had this big sack thing attached to it. Everyone was freaking out. I saw a brick, ran up to the gigantic venomous spider and nailed it. Baby spiders in their dozens headed in all directions. We didn't have anything to spray them with, and didn't tell the adults in the house about any of this because they would have made us come inside. After that, we raced up to the treehouse and no one went down until morning. True story. Southeast Houston can be dangerous!
Catch and release. Spiders are a net positive. Wasps, ants, stink bugs, or houseflies, on the other hand...
If its a poisonous spider anywhere, its dead. If it looks poisonous, its dead. Jumping spiders. Dead. If the spider is inside and I can reach it, its dead. If its chilling out on the ceiling or corner and not making a web, I give him an hour to get out of sight.
Kill them on site. I have two little boys running around, I take no chances whether or not I think they're dangerous.
Why would you bother throwing them outside? Wouldn't you think they would come back in? Man, some people really don't want to mess with nature......... Kill the mofos before they kill you......
This one runs along the house every now and then, they're quite shy I guess and eats the regular cockroach.
This is what I do for roaches. Spiders are too small to really care much about. Now if I saw a massive spider like the one posted above I'd run for the RAID can.
aaaahhhhhhh. I'd live in constant fear and terror, that spider is nasty. Can't stand any spider, they're usually pretty small here in Germany, but I still kill them immediately out of fear. Usually use a book or hairspray.
Btw you don't really have cockroaches in Germany because of the dry climate, unless you live in a dumpster and have giant amounts of food and trash on the floor everywhere. Guess that's why we don't see the need or plus for spiders in our houses.
