I don't doubt that they will see minutes together as Ariza can play the SG spot and soak up some of Hardens minutes .... So Harden doesn't get run into the ground.
If Morey can upgrade at pg, while keeping Papa and Johnson, not only will he be a god, but watch out defenses everywhere. Those two guys are great weak side options, with H and H sucking in defenses.
This is the Morey equivalent of all those fat girls who take pictures with weird angles to hide the fat.
Only if the combination is effective. You know Morey, he ain't going to let McHale run any combinations on the floor that don't maximize the winning percentage, Harden's fatigue be damned!
I think it can be effective as long as Howard is on the floor as the first option , he's going to be doubled often in that situation , Ariza is a pretty solid shooter from 3 point range which should open up some lanes for Papanikolaou to slash to the bucket. Much of the success of a Howard , Ariza , Papanikolaou trio likely depends upon who's at the PF spot .... Can that guy make a jumper and keep a defense honest ?? If so teams will be in scramble mode on defensive rotations .... Should make for some easy shots.

He was benched @ the start of the 2nd half and didn't play @ all in the 3rd. I think the 3rd string SF even played in the 3rd. He started the 4th but only played about 3 minutes before he was benched after his 3rd foul and 2nd Tov. A guy who camps out @ the 3P line about 70% of the time is useless if he can't hit open shots. Looks like he's going to end up 1/11 from 3P in 6 games.
Easily the most concerning stat of all our players at the World Cup. Oh well, at least we can rest easy knowing that he'll find a way contribute when his shot isn't falling.
