Let me give you a big AMEN! I live in Dallas and I used DirecTV to watch nearly all of the Rocket games last season including their last game after they were eliminated. I saw NO improvement from the "Franchise" in terms of his decision making and ability to run a coherent, consistent offense. While he did make a renewed attempt to get the ball to Yao in the games after the All-Star game, he eventually reverted to form and started piling up the bad decisions and turnovers and basically stopped going to Yao.

Van Gundy will either get him to start playing with his head or there will be a trade for a point guard. I've seen enough of Francis driving into the teeth of the zone and jumping up into air trying to draw a foul only to turnover the ball to last me for a lifetime.

This guy hit the nail on the head. It was like he watched every game of the season. To those who disagree- What team were you watching this past season?

    Freak...

Yesterday, she comes up to me and says "Daddy, can I go to the mall with my friends? I want to get you something for your birthday." I say to her "My birthday was two days ago. You are going now?" She says "Daddy, you know how us 2 year olds are, we forget things."

So, she goes to the mall...ALL DAY...returns in a car with some guy I never seen before with a Yao Ming authentic Rocket Jersey.

I just couldn't bring myself to punishing her for going past her curfew. What can I say? I am weak like dat! :)

As you can see, she is doing GREAT! Thank you for asking. :)

OK FIRST OF ALL EDDIE ONLY NEEDS A TOUGH COACH TO BECOME WUT WE NEED HIM TO BE AND I THINK VAN GUNDY IS THAT COACH....MOBLEY MUST GO THERES NO PLACE FOR HIM ON THIS TEAM. I WOULD TRADE MOBLEY FOR SNOW IN A HEARTBEAT SNOW IS A TOUGH GUY THAT RUNS THE TEAM WITH THE SYSTEM THE COACH WANTS AND IS A GOOD DEFENSIVE PLAYER, MEANING HE CAN GUARD THE TWO GUARDS OF OTHER TEAMS IF FRANCIS IS THE TWO GUARD.

Mobley is exactly the kind of player JVG likes. That is why JVG mentions him in just about every interview. If you watch or read any national sports coverage, the Rockets that get press are Francis and Ming. Yet JVG always says Francis, Mobley, and Ming. Mobley won't be going to the bench. Mobley won't be traded. If anyone on the team is concerned with padding their stats, its Francis, the "point guard" who gets all of 6 assists, skips down the court like a 9 yo girl, and can't be bothered playing defense.

The Rox problems began when Rudy T lost his grasp on the game. He is the one that wanted to trade up 11 spots to get Steve. I'm not saying that Steve has no talent or even that it was a bad trade (considering what we gave up in the deal). What i am saying is that somewhere in all of that they GAVE Steve the leadership role. He DID NOT EARN IT!!!!! So in comes this punk kid from Maryland that has the nerve to say he would not play for the Grizz (apparently because he is on some kind of other level than them) and some of the Rox to exception to that. But this would not be such a problem if not for the aforementioned "given leadership role". This was backed up by Rudy T himself with his lackadaisical practices and extreme belief and blind confidence in Francis as a man. A leader should earn the respect of a coach in practice not be just given the respect by the coach. Leaders are not given their roles. Leaders are BORN. Leaders gain the respect of their fellow combatants or teamates through blood, sweat and tears. Leaders lay it all on the line for the team and its members, not lay all the blame. I feel sorry for the teamates that have no respect. I feel sorry for Yao, who was not knowingly brought into this situation; and his brilliant game that will feature a mental setback. But most of all I feel sorry for the dedicated fans. Those of us that watch game after game with a hope that it is somehow going to get better; but are left dismantled, with a stinging bad taste in our mouths over and over. Those of us that spend our time and energy and even money........ while managment gives us a "leader" that is just a mere boy..... trying to fill a man's shoes.
