I'm not really one to post, but a very cool thing happened last night.

I live in Vegas and was playing ball in their 24 hour gym. Baron Davis from the Hornets came in and ended up running with my team. He, obviously, wasn't taking things very seriously, but it was a heck of a run. I thought my heart was going to friggin explode.

He actually yelled at me once. My claim to fame. Told me to play defense. I swear that dude picked me and no one helped.

Also, had a three and a layup from his assist.

    Very cool time.

that sounds pretty fun. It must be a really nice gym if BD would go there.

That's pretty cool, but to add a note, it's the wrong forum.

that is pretty funny...who cares, and yet, you read it then replied.....hmmm....

wrong forum? It is basketball isn't it? What if I proposed a 10 team trade with the Rox getting Baron - would that be better ;)

he is a big dude - you tend to lose that when you watch tv and see him compared to the 7 foot monsters. Solid 6'4, big dude.

You are so lucky! I wish that happened to me one day....that would be cool. Very good experience. He just came in and started playing? He didn't have any friends with him??? Cool...did you get his autograph?

He was with a big group. Just asked us if he could play with us - which really threw me off - and played. It was fun.

    No, I didn't ask - didn't seem right.

    By the way markhrich.

One of the reasons I believed you was because you didn't over-hype it; suprised on your part.

More of a "kid in a candy store" rather than a "yeah, we're tight!"

trust me - it threw me off completely. We were playing and people were talking that he was in the gym on the cardio equipment. What was funny was there was hardly anyone in the bball gym - just really the guys playing and a few waiting. BD comes in, picks up with my team, we start playing and next thing you know the place is friggin PACKED. It was a great run. I was dying.

You know - he didn't even shoot once though. Not a layup, no shots. Just passed. He was really cool though. I was impressed. He waslaughing and smiling the whole time.

I did tell him that I didn't want to get on ESPN for putting him out for the year with a knee injury - he laughed, but I was really serious. I tried to stay away from him when he was in the paint.

Did not want to be that guy.

    That is pretty tight.

If it was me tho, I would have tried to take him. Not saying I would have, but I would have tried to cross him or dunk on him. So I could say I crossed up Baron Davis.:D
I would have got his auto too.
