I guess Im going to be the only one to disagree with this move.

Im not hating on Rudy, but why make this move now. All 3 guards are finally hitting stride. SA, Francis, and Mobley have finally over the last couple weeks started to all contribute in just about every game. Now why take your best defender and move him over to a position where he'll be undersized and unaffective agains many, many of the front court players in the west? Add to that Mobleys lack of D. This move just doesnt make sense. I could care less if Mobley started over Shandon. As long as the minutes remained around the same.

I can live with needing to start Mobley on a consistant basis. Somehow I think this means SA is going to lose minutes after Rudy sees Anderson getting posted mercilessly by fowards 4 inches taller than him.

    DS,

Good points. I don't think it is so cookie-cutter, though. I don't think Anderson's role changes at all. The box score may show him playing the 3, but he is still the same Anderson on the court.

In fact, Cuttino actually guarded Vince more than Anderson did.

I think all this move means is that Rudy wants to give our 3 guard line-up more minutes, with the same role for Shandon. I really don't think this means anything else, other than Walt is way too inconsistent.

The bottomline is: we are a 3 guard team that makes life miserable for the opposition, but we need a better defensive frontline to support it in the long run.

DearRock,I have a feeling that perhaps Cato is a bit intimidated by Dream's gigantic shadow.Maybe after THE MAN retires or gets dealt we'll see that same Cato and all of a sudden things will change in a hurry.
HP,your bottom line IS the bottom line.....in my humble opinion...couldn't agree more...
DS,I worry about SA getting torched by the bigger guys too, but who doesn't..lets shore it up inside and we'll be fine...

I think Cato is intimidated by his own shadow, the man has not confidence, and has been nothing short of an inury plagued cry baby.

What EXACTLY is the difference between a
HIGH ANKLE SPRAIN and a LOW ANKLE SPRAIN?

Does he need Ankle Braces . . or something
I'm disappointed in CATO because he ain't
    playing. . .

I look for 3 things from him
    1. DEFENSE
    2. STAY OUT OF FOULD TROUBLE
    3. CATCH THE D*MN BALL OFF A PASS WITHOUT FUMBLING IT. . .

and if I can get anything else out of him
it would be. . SLAM IT HOME BABY!!!
