Women's Leagues Promoting Themselves Through Sex Appeal: Good or bad?

    It seems like the WNBA is starting to try and promote themselves through sex appeal. like this year they have unis that show midrift when they jump. Can't really tell though unless you look closely. Sue Bird just did a tiny photo shoot.

    I personally have no problem with this. Hardly anyone watches the sport. I don't really care how they promote it. I mean most of the women aren't attractive, but players like Sue Bird are. If that's the only way that they can get some viewers, I have no problem with them promoting themselves through sex appeal.

    That first picture reminds me of Bill Simmons always writing about how funny it is to watch the women during the WNBA draft walking in their heels.

    These aren't really cheesecake material, they are showing less skin than NBA players do in the course of a game. Anyways they need to appeal to *lesbians*... :) jk
