Pretty much anything by Hayao Miyazaki / Studio Ghibli.

Otherwise, Char's Counterattack, Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Five Star Stories, Grey: Digital Target, Jin Roh: The Wolf Brigade, and Urusei Yatsura 2: Beautiful Dreamer.

I won't say Frozen is horrible, but it is way, way, way overrated. The songs are not memorable and annoying and the story didn't engage me at all. And for all it's talk about its theme of a strong woman central character that doesn't need a man in her life to be happy, well Brave did that too, and did it better. But I get it, Brave is technically not a Disney movie. Everyone who likes it says it's the best Disney since Lion King. Nope that's Tangled.

    Anyways favorite animated...

Incredibles, Finding Nemo, The Iron Giant, Princess Mononoke, How to Train Your Dragon, Despicable Me, Kung Fu Panda, Toy Story 3, Appleseed.

I think most Disney films are terribly overrated, fairly dumb-down with the same premise, yet I've heard people say cartoons/Anime/animated are stupid and unrealistic... Turn around say Disney films are fantastic.

Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, & Monsters Inc. are all quite enjoyable.

Grave of the Fireflies is to me heads and shoulders above the other animated films

After that it's more of a take your pick between a myriad of Miyazaki films and early Disney 90s coupled with the Pre-Disney Pixar

All this talk of Disney movies and I don't think I've seen The Sword in the Stone mentioned yet. I'm not a Disney fan at all, but I always liked that movie.

Best pre Pixar Disney was definitely the Lion King

Secret of Nimh and Last Unicorn were absolute classics

Toy Story 3, Up, and Incredibles were great as well
