Rather, people don't care about the World Cup, they do care about the olympics. Also, I think people don't care about these early stages. When USA was in it's funk and lost to Argentina, people did care. People will care when it matters or when they lose. I'm not even watching this game, watching a blowout of this magnitude is no fun. I'm watching Spain-Iran right now and it's interesting because Spain is now powerhouse and they are just walking through the game lazily.
Isn't FIBA rules supposedly different from NBA rules so that you can't get away with the 2.9 step thing? I'm terrible when it comes to seeing these borderline travels so I can't really tell myself.
I'm pretty bad about travels as well, but I think its a travel by international standards. In the NBA, you are allowed a "gather step" which is why this probably wouldn't be a travel. But this is clutchfans, so let's call it a sick eurostep and leave it at that
This team is just chucking up shots. Harden looks the most composed out of all of them. USA should find their rhythm soon and blow them out.
Tied at 16 after one quarter with Turkey? Splash Brothers were more like Brickie Labourers out there & the Kings Gay Cousins combo was meh...
They will eventually figure out Turkey today, but this is the kind of game where Team USA needs KD. In addition to shooting bunnies over the zone, his mere presence would open up the floor and paint for everyone else.
Asheek I can't believe how many people still mispronounce Omer's name, even after knowing the correct way.
Curry looks rattled, just jacks up crap. Need to work more inside and Harden needs to take a little more control out there.
