This is also my first league with personal friends, other than anonymous online foes. Any tips on getting an edge? I put in $100 to win $1000 in a league, also with other prizes for 2nd. We will also be holding a(Snake) draft at a wings place(of course), which I've never done.

Any tips for a novice player (meaning I've only recreationally played on free leagues online).

Thanks for y'alls help ahead of time

    • Make sure you know your league rules.
This is the #1 piece of advice. It's critical.Read those rules over and over again. For example, does you league have a 3rd reversal of Fortune? If you don't know what this is, look it up.
    • Understanding (and respecting) the enormous risk involved in taking a running back in the first 2 rounds of the draft. Rbs can blow up a fantasy football season quicker than any other position on the field. The idea is to minimize your risk. So taking rbs back to back in the first two rounds of the draft is hugely risky play. The safer bet is to go with a te or wr or qb in that spot since there is a lot less risk involved.
