Well, this is an interesting development.

Being on the agent side of the business, can you tell us how free agents generally feel towards McHale?

Surely the Rockets front office (at some point) felt good about McHale possibly convincing Kevin Love, Melo, Bosh, and even Parsons to choose Houston. All we hear about (per media sources) is Melo's regard for coach Thibs, Chris Paul's recruitment of Doc Rivers, and future HOFers loyalties to Rick Carlisle and Coach Pop, respectively -- and for good reasons.

In your opinion, how does McHale (the head coach) fair around the league and its elite players? Is this something Morey and Les may have overestimated this summer?

I wish, but I doubt he'd leave the college level any time soon, not saying he isn't good enough, but he wouldn't leave because he wouldn't want to.
