Yes. DMo can shoot it. He needs the the minutes...to develop the continuity in his game...consistency in his J, time on the blocks to work guys over with his array of post moves, and has to be out there defending.....in the flow of the game. I know many don't see it yet. What former NBA player would you guys compare DMo to if his development reached fruition? I have a guy in mind...and he was REALLY good, but wasn't a project.
I have nothing for you there Da Wink. Lurch should have a big name/very competent guy who can handle the whole deal next to him.
I buy DMO. I just think he needs 25 minutes a game or so consistently. I don't know if he will get to 38% from three but I could see 35% and happily live with it. It may be 2 years until it truly all fits together though IMO.
No question DMo has Great Potential and if he is able to become a Better Defender, Rebounder, Shooter, Decision maker, etc - Watch out NBA!
Call me crazy but I see a young sabonis. The skinny kid we see on all those youtube vids. Not the old man we saw in the nba.
No way should he answer this question... Anybody who knows somebody or gotten info from someone should answer this question... Just be thankful he has decided to let us in on some info that he has... As rocket2k has always stated "If you don't like or agree with it, then don't go to the thread". Some of this is just getting flat out ridicules.... T_Man
It's a pretty vague question. Even all of the verified reporters on Twitter say things like "sources say".
every insider on this board even when this site was ClutchCity never stated their sources... We appreciated the information and moved on from there.... If you guys don't believe Cyberex or Plowman than stop reading the thread, just that simple... But they both opted to let us know what they have heard and even that can not be put in stone... back in the 94-95 season I was at a Dallas Mavericks Player house who was talking to Derek Harper at the time and he told me Harper said he was backing his bags for Houston... I was happy as all get out... 4 hours later, Harper was on a plane to New York... So everyone trying to hold these guys to every word makes no sense.... Things can change in an instant... And asking them to reveal their source is out right ridicules... T_Man
Not outright, but in a round about way..... Basically, if you guys don't believe them, go to another thread.... Plowman like myself has been around here for many years, and he has the respect of the 99ers and the 00ers... Cyberex has been right on with some of his inside info, so either read the info and say Thank you or don't read it all... Just that simple. T_Man
I wrote earlier that Plowman has been around since '99 and deserves the benefit of the doubt. I haven't been reading this thread and I jumped in late and was just wondering if the question I asked has been answered. You are being way too defensive over nothing.
Why do people care so much? Regardless of whether the info is correct or not, there's actually more basketball discussion here than most offseason threads around anyway. And cyberx still drops by with nuggets when he has the time. Just take it in as an offseason speculation thread. If you don't like speculation, go to a thread that's more tangible. If you like speculation, there's plenty of it here. I for one am looking forward to Plowman either crash and burn or look like a genius. Either result is fine with me, although I clearly prefer his predictions to be true.
His form isn't bad, but I don't know about 38%. That's a really good percentage even for guards/specialists. He hasn't shown any signs of improving, and the bulk will not help. That's new muscle memory he has to establish. If he does improve this year, I don't think it'll be that big of a jump in percentage. DMo reminds me of New York Knicks Zach Randolph. Inconsistent post game that worked when it worked and a random jump shooter that extended beyond the arc for some reason. Hopefully, he turns into current Randolph. The only difference is Zbo uses strength in the post whereas DMo uses craftiness. Their nicknames also sound the same.
