So, is there anyway to haggle with them if I dont get a subscription with a new car? I just got a new used car but no subscription with it, so I do not have the luxury per say of calling to cancel and getting a beast deal.
You can get a free trial for 2 months without a subscription, just go to https://care.siriusxm.com/preownedvehiclestrial_view.action
All you have to do is mention that you got an email with this promo and they'll honor it every time. I've done it for years now. Makes Sirius more than worth it at this price.
depends on the station, but agree it could be better. the web subscription generally sounds quite good, better than satellite, depending on how you play it back. I use a Slim Devices Transporter. btw, anyone else having an issue w/ youtube videos autoplaying on this thread?
I just did this for my all access for my cars and phone. Much better than paying $66.98 every 3 months. $25/ 6 months for two cars and the internet plan for Stern streaming, worth it. Repped.
My wife really enjoys the SXM for our long car rides. Especially when she takes over and I go to sleep. We have put on about 50k+ miles in the past year. I like listening to Opie & Jim (Anthony RIP) but I can also listen to the show each day online for free. I would get rid of it if it wasn't for her.
Do you two get good sound quality with Spotify in your cars on Bluetooth? I pay for the extreme quality, and it's anything but. Everywhere else it's perfect though.
BT is likely the issue there, which further degrades what is already a lossy signal. even "extreme quality" spotify is still only 320k. also, fwiw, i find SXM over IP at 128k sounds better than Spotify at 320k, although neither is as good as Qobuz lossless FLAC. and MOG, when it was available, sounded better than Spotify, on the same tracks, at teh same bit rate (320k).
