Isn't he a free agent? I can't see him getting more than the MLE, so maybe we could sign him outright.

Brown is a free agent, and he would be an excellent addition to this team. He is a legit 7 footer who can play the 5 or the 4 but most of all, he is a good defender.

But the teams who are after him..that I know of are the LA Lakers and Orlando Magic. The Rockets would have to offer more money then either of these teams to get Brown.

I would love to add PJ to our team. A hustler is just what we can need. Someone who can bust ass and do the dirty work.

PJ claims to want to stay in Louisiana, where he's from. If they don't retain him Houston is next best location. (No polyana jingoism from me, huh?)

I love PJ Brown, but he is not a legit 7 footer. He's not even a fake 7 footer. He's listed at 6'11 on ESPN.com. I would absolutely love it if we could grab him, though. Then we would be free to trade Griffin...perhaps for some backup PG help.

Can we send Taylor somewhere for a future pick, even a second round pick. Then we will free some money and possibly get PJ.
