that was what i was thinking hahahah. Steve's pretty smart in putting the 'h' at the end to mask the true meaning of 'isoh'
EVERYBODY WHO IS HATIN ON FRANCIS YA'LL SOME HOES FOR THAT.LIKE THA DUDE THINK ABOUT BASKETBALL ALL THE TIME.PLUS THERE IS LIFE AFTER THE NBA......I THOUGHT YA WAS SMARTER THAN THAT.AND TO THE ONE WHO SAID THERE ISNT A HIGH PROFILE RECORD LABEL IN HOUSTON.........RAP-A-LOT RECORDS......SCARFACE..........YA'LL NOT REAL MUSIC FANS........YA JUST LISTEN TO SAY "I KNO WHO SUCH AND SUCH IS".............
Francis does deserve his time off and as long as he doesn't produce anything like what Walt Williams was doing, I'll be OK. Who knows, maybe he will be interested in my stuff. I write political parody music, you know, kind of like Good Charlotte meets Wierd Al. Anyone know a band who is willing to lay down a few tracks? LOLOL
Did Steve ever get his degree? I remember his first summer as a Rocket, he spent a semester back at Maryland to work on getting his criminalogy degree. It'd be nice if he finds a way to get that done, then he can team with Shaq as private eyes
oh my bad... you know what? i forgot Stevie already had the 2004 NBA Title locked up for the Rockets, not to mention the regular season MVP award!
Yo Franchise..... Its your Berf-day We's gonna partay like its your Berf-day We gonna sip Bicardi like its your Berf-day And you know we dont give a f#ck cuz its your Berf-day 75 cent Dog
In response to SteadyBallin: Word..... Stevie's foh shizzle the tighest nizzle handlin' tha pill in the NBAizzzzle. He really should be focused on Basketball 24/7 until the day he retires. Especially considering the fact he hasn't had a dramatic improvement in his game since he's entered the league. Make the playoffs before you go out and start a music label.
Hmm... Yao signed some book contract already and the Rockets is still not in the playoff. Besides, Yao played basketball non stopping for 2 years and everybdoy agree that Yao's develpement was hurt. Anyway, the Music label was about his game, ISOh, isn't it? Francis is working on it, be patient.
You do realize Kobe Bryant cut an album himself, right? And owned part of a team overseas? When I started reading this article I was expecting the responses to be more "that's cool; good luck Stevie" type stuff. Funny how some of you guys act like you're actually doing something other than just b****ing on a message board and more worthwhile than someone else's endeavors. *lol* *shakes head* If the article was about Yao starting a record company or opening up a restaurant or whatever he does OUTSIDE of basketball (it's okay for them to have lives outside of sports, right?) would some of you that are b****ing...well, b****?
I do agreethat Francis seems to be all about the excesses of life, this is not a humble man or one who our children should look to emulate. He does not strike me as a person who will ever be the great leader one who gets on players like EG who seem to lag on the court and in the offseason. I guess the reason I'll never be able to love Steve as I loved The Dream is because I do not respect the lifestyle Steve chooses to live.
Steve's mind is on his game. Just look at the name of the record label. ISOH or is his terms Iso!! That is not a coincidence!!!
i'm not trying to generalize all ball players here. i'm being very case specific... Steve is a player and we have ALL seen flashes of his greatness, BUT i'm tired of just flashes. If Jason Kidd can lead his team to the finals 2 years in a row, then Stevie has the ability to dominate in this league! and it's not just Steve, Yao and Cat are included as well... This is the core to our team, what we need is leadership and the best way to lead is by example. Time for them to step it up... If he wants a record label, then great but why not wait until we right our ship...
Maybe if you improved yourself for work at home, you could be making tens of millions of dollars. Kind of like Steve did playing basketball...
