I don't really like the 2-year deal aspect of this.

If he's any good, someone will be using the Gilbert Arenas rule to give him a poison pill contract in a couple of seasons.

Looks to be 40% + from deep. I like it adding shooting and defense to this roster while remaining flexible to pick up another star in the huge 2k16 free agency.

I guess Parson won't be missed. That is unless you are a 15 year old girl.

Yes, I was afraid we weren't going to be able to replace Casspi.

At 6'9 230 I wonder if he would be able to play PF for us.

Haha. I guess. Sounds like something the Vipers would do.

Our back up center still averaged 5 and 5 in Europe. You can find guys in the league who would average 20 and 10 over there, yet, we havent gotten one.

He didn't even average that in the euro league.

    Don't get your hopes up.

I agree completely. He looked to be the best remaining MLE option on the board, is a rockets draft pick, is young and wants to play here. I like that we are investing in our own, and papa got what he wanted in that his buyout is covered and then some

And like you said, it was awesome that we have an out should he not pan out

Over the last three seasons, he's had a roller coaster of shooting accuracy from 3-point range. He went from the mid-30's up over 40.0 percent from downtown to back in the mid-30's this past season.

Papanikolaou averaged 6.6 points and 4.0 rebounds in the Spanish league and 6.9 points and 3.4 rebounds in EuroLeague play.

40% on threes and some solid defense would be nice.
