Peace is unrealistic goal to be achieved, that could happen anywhere else but in this conflict due to religious's believes.everyone is waiting for Jesus ,Messiah or mahdi to be the savior. Palestinians most likely Will follow the path of Zionist. (Zionists who follow they blue print of Nazis )Building influence and strengths until one day they seize the opportunity with no guilt or whatever ...
How can peace be had when the Palestinians thinks it's ok to joke about (as well as glorify) suicide bombing Israeli civilians? Horrible human beings who need to be tried for war crimes. (& have their children taken into protective custody before one is influenced to become a martyr) These Palestinians are the real nazis of today. If the IDF joking about bombing Gaza horrifies you to that extent, how do you feel about the Palestinian parents that teach their children to hate Jews, dress them up as suicide bombers & wish for them to become martyred? Just wondering if you champion everyone's human rights, or if you just anti Israel?
That strategy has really worked out well for ya. Good luck with that. In any case, certain posters in here have proven they aren't sincere at all about peace.
This is worth repeating. What is happening is that you get a lot of people very sympathetic to all the Palestinians dying (which of course is tragic), but that is exactly what Hamas is trying to do -- catch the low-information crowd that doesn't dig deeper to understand that Hamas is bringing this upon the Palestinians by using them as human shields.
Why would you say I'm advocating that sort of system? I see that as the likely outcome when looking at the type of people being elected in Israel. A one state solution where everyone has equal rights would be ideal but I feel is extremely unlikely. Can that sort of system be sustained in 100 years? Maybe not. Can it continue for a long time? I think so. They more or less dictate American policy on the arab israeli conflict and for such a small country are quite relevant economically. Also Israeli society is content with the status quo.
If the Palestinians are going to behave as they are when they're in a semi-viable state, why should Israel trust them to behave better if they're in a stronger position in a viable state?
http://www.worldbulletin.net/world/141870/israeli-official-calls-for-concentration-camps-in-gaza This has turned into more than just one official saying such things. It's obvious the government of Israel harbors terrorist minded people and I can not believe my tax dollars, our tax dollars ($8 million per day) pay these people's salaries. They want to do (and have pretty much begun doing) to the Palestinians what the Nazis did to the Jews in WWII. How can the zionists on this board continue to support this terrorist organization?
I agree you really haven't shown you are sincere about peace. just total crushing victory for the most frightened and vicious elements of Israeli society. However, it is not your fault really as you are locked in the old narrative that was largely unchallenged when you made your conclusions. Fortunately the rest of the world and even America is starting to wise up.
I guess the US has even gotten embarrassed by having to support the continual bombing of UN shelters/schools. *************** The US State Department became a little testy with Israel on Sunday over the 6th school shelling by the Israeli military, which killed 10, saying “The United States is appalled by today’s disgraceful shelling outside an UNRWA school in Rafah sheltering some 3,000 displaced persons, in which ten more Palestinian civilians were tragically killed,” reads the statement from State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki. “We once again stress that Israel do more to meet its own standards and avoid civilian casualties.” As for the standard Israeli military pretext for such war crimes, that Hamas was hiding out in the school or firing from the school, no reporter on the ground has seen any evidence of any such activity by Hamas in schools where there are people. Then the Israeli military obfuscates things by saying that Hamas was “in the area.” Since Gaza is so small, I suppose they are in the area of almost everything. But the State Department didn’t let Tel Aviv off the hook this time: “The suspicion that militants are operating nearby does not justify strikes that put at risk the lives of so many innocent civilians.” http://www.juancole.com/2014/08/israels-accomplice-crimes.html
Stupid mischaracterization of the issues and stands of one party to this crisis not helpful. Can you cite one post of yours beyond one sentence in which you have contributed an idea of sorts to this or another thread? I actually have no opinion of your posts though you do seem to post regularly and seem to be on the right somehow.
I am just saying that system is not sustainable as you think. You're assuming a lot of the factors in place today will remain as such. History shows that this is highly unlikely. 20 years you may be right. 100 years is a different matter. What are you advocating by the way then?
The Zionist of the 40's called themselves Terrorists - they were the original terrorists who slaughtered and cleansed out the Palestinians. Is it a surprise that they would take up similar tactics? Yes it is horrible what parents teach their kids. But if Israel wants that to stop, it might help if they also stop dropping bombs on their hospitals, schools, and playgrounds.
You need to read Exiled's posts more closely. Also your plan of a minority Jewish state would result in what I said.
If they want them to stop dropping bombs on their hospitals, schools, and playgrounds, they should stop giving them reasons to drop bombs on their hospitals, schools, and playgrounds. They don't just do it for kicks. Hamas wants Israel to have to bomb those kinds of targets so they can use it for propaganda purposes....and some people are foolish enough to be swayed by it.
And one last thing before I will go on my way and finish this frustrating blind talks- Do not mistake my reaching hand for peace as weakness. Israel is fighting with one hand behind her back, and not even with the strong arm. If you want war you will get war, and it will be hard, it will be painful and it will get you down on your knees like all the Arab countries that have tried it for the past 60 years. So this is your chance for peace- don't blow it out because of your stupid leaders and because of miss-informed politically correct anti-Semitic like Glynch here
"Anti-Semitic" isn't the same as "anti-Israeli" or even "anti-Jew", are you really saying that Glynch is against all Semitic peoples or just Jews? Palestinians are Semites as well.....Arabic is a Semitic language just like Hebrew is.
Go blow up some more schools and hospitals and come lie to us about it Israel. Scumbags gonna scumbag.
