The size and magnitude of Bombs being dropped in Gaza.

And the point is?

 

...and if Hamas would stop firing its rockets at Israel, (& kidnapping citizens) there would be no more Israeli bombs dropped on Gaza, therefore no more casualties.

Also re: the death toll. If Israel didn't have Iron dome their death toll would be much higher...would more Israeli deaths make OP happy?


As a parent it's gut wrenching to see children and innocent civilians, from either side, dying or getting maimed, but how do you make it stop when both sides hate each other, & one side is willing to sacrifice its children in order to attain its unattainable goal?

 

The Iron Dome and Hamas placing munitions in around civilian areas will make the death toll worse for the Palestinians. There is no doubt about that. But if Israel actually worried and tried to avoid civilian deaths it wouldn't be as lopsided as it is.

Israel has troops on the ground there. They could go in after areas where there are Hamas members, weapons or ammunition instead of dropping giant bombs and blowing up the whole neighborhood. It would drastically cut down on the death toll of Palestinian civilians. But Israel doesn't do that.

It's like my neighbor throws rocks at my house and I retaliate by throwing bricks, when cops get here neighbor whines about me having bigger rocks!

 

It's more like if the cop gives your land to someone else. And then you throw some rocks at their house that is on your old land and then they retaliate by destroying your new house and taking more of your land. Repeat ad nauseam.

 

The Palestinians shouldn't not kidnap or kill invading soldiers, it's outrageous!

 

Haha .. talk about oversimplification ... there is no dispute as to who owns the house huh? I feel most sorry for the human shields that the terrorist group of Hamas uses.
