you are looking for pure shooters and look this:
    - G L E N R I C E:
His physical is not that the past, well. But with confidence he is one of the betters pure shooters of the league. If Jeff don't give him confidence, don't you hope Jeff give that confidence to Price.
    - B O S T J A N N A C H B A R :
We don't know nothing about him but he is really a good shooter.(I saw him in Europe and I can assure he can run the fastbreaks and shoot from all possitions. He made 35 points at my team on the 2nd best team of europe).

How many teams would want to have one of this players??
But if you want more pure shooters:
    - steve kerr
    - walt williams (why we left him go to Dallas)
    - Reggie Miller???? , jeje

    Other good players availables are:
    - Eddie house ( he isn't a pure shooter but yes a great PG backup, sure better than NOOOOOOrris)
    - Jimmy Jackson. He would be great, experience and score from the bench.
    - Speedy Claxton. If Spurs signs Kidd, with him and Parker, Kerr or Speedy will say bye.
    - DerMarr Johnson. I think he haven't team??, Is not easy that other teams want him after of this year. He's a young player and talented. We could sign him a low contract. Somebody must say he's free. And yes I'm gonna make a thread saying that to remember him.

Rockets should sign two or more of this 7 players

Everybody is talking about 3pt shooting but no one is talking about defense. Second to Posey or, in fact, equal to Posey is Hawkins. I find it hard that we would be passing on Hawkins for some of these so called great shooters. I am satisfied that we have good enough shooters, but I am not satisfied that we have enough people who can finish a fast break and more importantly, start a fast break with their defense. Remember JVG spoke about balance. Of course I would not mind replacing Maddox as the #14 player but surplanting Hawkins, Rice and Boki with 2nd round rookies is out of the question.

I just don't see us being able to use these guys, with the exception on jon barry. all of the good shooters that could contribute to this team are over 35. and there is no way that milwaukee lets redd get away after that horrible gary payton trade.

Agreed, Jon Barry would be the best fit--probably had for like 2 million or whatever the min is for a long time vet.

Redd is a BYC player I believe--which makes him almost impossble to trade for (Houston or Milwalkee would have to overpay someone else to make it happen). Thus Micheal Redd should not be mentioned in any trade until at least next offseason--we need to get this through to people.

Hasn't Kerr already announced that he's retiring after the season?

I remember reading somewhere an interesting trivia fact: The last 12 championship teams all had either Kerr or Horry, 13 if the Spurs win this year.

Some guys just have good karma. :D

Yes, I believe he has said he wants to retire. I think he ranks up there with guys like Reggie Miller when it comes to clutch shooting.

Who is the best clutch shooter in modern history (Bird?, McHale?, Jordan? Hakeem? Miller? Kerr? Thomas? Kobe? Horry?)

Well on Fox Sports Southwest Postgame Report.....they asked Steve Kerr if he was retiring after this season....and he said after yesterday's game....he called his agent to tell him to start negotiating with the Spurs....he says he still can play.

I know this isn't a trade post, but why not trade for Brent Barry. He solves a couple of problems, he can hit the outside shot, run the floor, and run the point..

i don't care who we get but we need some shooters. When Glen Rice was hitting the 3's you saw what it did for our team. We are a lot more dangerous.
