You seem very happy about the kidnapping with your smilies and jokes. The agreed ceasefire had both sides staying where they were. Israel wasn't retreating.

The loser of this kidnapping are the Palestinian people who desperately need the 72 hour humanitarian ceasefire. Again, Hamas drops a giant turd on its own people and you continue to smile.

Even Hamas is against ISIS. They aren't friends.

It sounds like Hamas may have been the ones to violate the cease fire. We'll have to get more facts to find out for sure.

Seriously who the **** am I supposed to believe. Hamas is saying they didn't capture an Israeli soldier and Israel is saying they did. What a cluster****. I don't trust Israel or Hamas' word equally here.

That's the wisest thing you can do at this point. Wait and see if more facts come out. Right now there are two sides each saying the other were the ones to break the cease fire. There's no real proof of the exact chronology of events and what exactly has happened.

Mutual fears is the main cause of stopping many potential wars

Israel now will think many times before attempting any future assault..

If they get free pass as usual they won't ever stop...

This makes no sense. For decades and decades Israel has not been given a free pass. They've encountered suicides bombings, attacks, and kidnappings. Each time one of these actions has happened it hasn't stopped the aggression, oppression, and land stealing from Israel.

Israel will not think twice before the next assault. They will only work on how to exploit this type of thing to justify their next assault.

Both sides need to try something new and different rather than the same failed tactics over and over.

Idk what's going on right now as far as who broke the cease fire. But if an Israeli soldier was captured during the cease fire in Gaza, didn't Israel breach the cease fire? Im not sure of the terms and conditions but doesn't a cease fire usually mean soldiers need to gtfo of Gaza?

A ceasefire where Israeli tanks and troops are in Gaza isn't really a ceasefire.

In that case one shouldn't speculate.

It's really interesting the duplicate reports that are coming out now. Similar to the kidnapping of the three boys. Whoever violated the humanitarian ceasefire is a terrorist scum.

No one should speculate. Everyone is speculating however and taking either Hamas or Israel's word straight up. Even our own government is assuming that Israel is telling the truth.

Because that is what the facts point to.

A ceasefire does not equal a retreat by either party.

The ceasefire agreed to, and specifically laid out by John Kerry on tape, included the following:
-Neither side advanced past currently held positions
-Neither side took offensive action against the other
-Israel retained the right to carry about demolition against the tunnels in their currently held positions

Hamas violated the ceasefire. Even if they didn't capture a soldier, they carried out a suicide bombing against an Israeli unit that was BEHIND the agreed to line via their tunnel system.

A lot of the information/news on the Palestinian side is coming from trapped civilians in Gaza using Twitter /Facebook... They have been the first to break most of the news because they are on the ground watching what happens. And so far their track record has been accurate.

Just go on Twitter and search for the term "Gaza"

What is sad is that we have our own Hamas sympathizer here rejoicing in the capturing of an Israeli soldier and the suicide bombing of an Israeli unit. Regardless of whether you side with Israeli or the Palestinian people, this action will bring nothing but severe pain to the Palestinians. Hundreds more, if not thousands, will die because of this. In the end, Israel will either get their soldier back by force or by working some deal that lets some more militants out of jail and gets Hamas money from Qatar at the cost of Palestinians lives.

So go ahead, keep laughing and cheering for Hamas and reveling in the death and capture of Israeli troops. I've never seen such delusion in my life.

It's the only reason Israel agrees to a so-called ceasefire. So they can continue military operations in a land that they're occupying without opposition. It's a joke. Everyone knows it's a joke. Join the real.

No more or less than our own Israeli terrorist sympathizers rejoicing in 1,000 civilian deaths and 50 years of apartheid. Spare me.
