Just like with basketballreasons saving us from Gasol...We dodged a bullet by not getting Bosh.

    So, I'm pleased.

A mix between "Not happy, could of been better", and "Waiting to see, I'll overreact at a later date" is where I am.

This is how i feel about the off season depending on what happens

Ecstatic couldn't of had a better off season - If we land Love
Great off season, very happy - Land Dragic, Bledsoe or Rondo
solid/good off season, pretty happy - Land a PF like Young, Ilyasova, Smith, Anderson
not bad off season, neutral - Sign Marion and Okafor or O'Neal
Bad off season, totally pissed - If we do nothing but sign a couple more min contracts.

EBledsoe is turning down a $48,000,000.00/4 years offer from the Suns.

I doubt if Morey would be willing to pay him anymore than that, let alone those numbers.

It is What it is... isnt an option? I would be scrambling for season tickets if we had Landed Lebron and crew.

My personal hope was for other than the finger crossing was for the Bosh story, Is that we will end up with Jsmooth and a pg even if its Rondo.

I don't believe the team is bad. Its a crew of people who have a lot to prove, do or die and that can be dangerous. Worse case RGV will win it all and we will have a lot of chips to offer.

great off season, didn't lose our cornerstones in Harden and Howard and added defenders which we badly needed

I'd like to say "Waiting to see, I'll overreact at a later date" like I posted earlier in the offseason, but I chose "Not happy, could have been better" instead. The Harden trade happened just before preseason started so there's a possibility, however minor, that we either get a significant starter or a solid backup. The backups we got don't give me much confidence. Combined with the fact that we lost out on Bosh has me leaning towards the latter option.

Horrible from when we got eliminated in 6 in the first round. The Mavs got better, Spurs managed to keep their team together while we lost some good young players in Parsons, Asik and Lin.

My prediction the Rox will be the worst team in Texas next season.

I remember when our core used to be JLin, Parsons, and Asik. Now it's Harden Howard, and Ariza.

We got rid of an overpaid pg, disgruntled center, and didn't match a sf because it would've been stupid to.

I'm pretty happy with our team still. Ariza imo was an underrated pickup/replacement. As far as expectations go, I was expecting at least another superstar to be added like Les had said, but I guess things don't always work out the way you want it to.

I am getting tired of people referring to the offseason as being over when it is AUGUST.

People are referring to it in past tense.

    It's not over yet! geez

This site is the most negative place ever. I come here for inspiration because it can't be as bad as all you here have it.

I recommend you play this everytime you come here:

I don't think we are in a horrible situation. Acquiring quality players is going to be hard. Mistakes have been made, but what is the Rockets organization going to do about their abysmal coaching situation?

How many teams can say they have two stars on their team. I'm content with the rockets, knowing Morey is always going to try to improve this team.

Not really, but you can't fault Morey. Pieces just didn't fail into place. It's really no one's fault imo, just ****ty circumstances.

The best part of the offseason was the Nick Johnson sexual innuendo thread.

I'm pretty ecstatic. All we need is paulwtfk to tryout and make the team as our starting PG and we'd be all set! Watchout LerBon and Duncan!

Not happy but I will live with it. I liked going for the top talent and having a chance. Right now we have a real good team. We are positioned with flexibility to get a great piece. Patience sucks though. Having 2 of the best players helps a lot.

Right now I'm in a wait and see mode. If the rockets go in to the season as is, then I'm not too happy. But, if they find an upgrade at the 1 or 4 then ill be happy.
