[The Oregonian] Harden, Parsons, and Lillard discuss "The Shot"

That was such a freaking luckbox shot. Still makes me sick to think about it. I'd say 8 times out of 10 that shot misses.

But of course the Blazers had rabbit's foots up their asses the entire series. As well as the refs basically gift wrapping two games for them.

The Blazers and the NBA in general piss me off.

 

It's a double edged sword. Some people will say he's defensive and some people will say he's still upset, meaning he cared that he lost. What matters is what comes of it.

 

Parsons is just a kiss a$$.

We're just the mark that feels upset that the stripper didn't actually love us.

 

I think a ticked off Harden guarantees we move on to the second round this year.

 

guessing this is how it went:

lillard: hey james remember that shot I hit to knock you out of the playoffs
james: no response

5 minutes later

lillard: hey james it was like from this spot
james: no response

2 minutes later

lillard: hey james i mean .9 seconds man who would have thought?
james: no response

1 minute later throwing his towel into the bin

lillard: hey james just like back in april! nothing but net
james: no response


lillard to reporter: yeah so me and james have spoke about the shot in detail

james: no we havent


so they're both right

What do you call Parsons ending up with the ball in his hands under the basket after like 5 different guys tipped it, so he could lay it in and take a lead 1 second prior to Lillard's shot?

 

I call it the only layup he didn't miss that entire game.
