Lawl. At all the comments saying that #25's comment was a big reason for our loss. I'm sure it had nothing to do with our fantastic mchale led defense.

Lillard considers it to be at length but harden doesn't

 

Parsons is full of it. I'm sure he did say it. He had a tendency to shoot his mouth off all season.

I am glad Harden took the loss seriously.

 

It really annoys me when people say these sorts of things.
You realise the media don't cover the actual play call and only cover the speech at the end.

Is McHale a great head coach? Hell no, he is a personnel guy but that does not mean he cannot call a basic in-bounds play.

The problem was defensive communication and a late switch, hating on McHale in this instance is not appropriate

 

"Hey Harden you want to talk about that HUGE failure you had last year where your entire year's work and hopes and dreams got destroyed??!?!?!"


And yeah they wonder why he was short with them.

until we see actual change on the court, trying to play D, using his brain and leading it is all just hollow words

 

I feel the same way. Paint a nice target on the backs of the Blazers. Nothing wrong with having another rivalry. Heck, the Sonics don't even exist any longer. I'm happy to put Portland in their spot. Let's get nasty with the Northwest!

 

damn straight, this was the perfect snap shot and reflection of the organisations commitment to defense and attention to detail on the defensive side of the floor, kinda of apt there season was ended by something they didn't care about all year, we saw it all year, covered up by lovely looking and statistically satisfying offence....

we must get a defensive assistant this offseason

 

If you look before the play, after TWO timeouts our guys were still figuring out what they were going to do. That is inexcusable IMO, and is a coaching issue.

 

Lillard should Parsons where was he during that play?

 

That being said I still don't hate the Blazers like I do the Mavs, Jazz, or Lakers.
**** the Jazz and the back to back trench war in the first round.
**** Laker fans worst fans in the league.
**** the Mavs because douchebags everywhere.

**** the Blazers for hitting such a BS incredible shot, but at the end of the day nobody on that squad except Mo Williams really pisses me off and he's gone now.

 

I've always hated the blazers just because of the constant playoff matchups.

Well at least he's getting defensive or something instead of letting it blow right past him.
