That's quite a reach, when all reports indicated he would have came here, if it wasn't for the extra money. Looks like he's ESPN's writer for the Thunder, so...

People have bad short-term memories, but let's not forget that Lin actually outplayed both Harden and Parsons in the series against Blazers.

Despite his high-profile turnover in game 4, Lin almost single-handedly won the Rockets the game in Game 1 OT, came up with crucial plays down the stretch in the critical game 3 (culminating in Troy's 3pointer), and resurrected Linsanity in game 5.

Harden was the LVP of any playoff team in that round, and Parsons shot went missing like Jimmy Hoffa.

Yes, Lin could've played better. But he was still one of the better Rockets.

That 5th year & $30 million from Miami had more to do with Bosh staying than culture. What a joke. Some of these corny dudes are trying to pile on HTown right now.. Can't wait for the season.

Royce Young is the single biggest homer in the history of the Internet and despises James Harden more than anyone on earth. Not worth our time worrying about.

Both Parsons and Harden need to learn to think before they speak.

But in Harden's defense, he did get his start in OKC where honestly I don't think they do a very good job at managing their player's voice and tone to the media.

Seriously look at how many times Westbrook and Durant post and say something stupid. Like Durant bashing Kawhi after he just won a finals mvp.

Aren't Parsons and Harden possibly playing against each other in the upcoming USA Basketball training camp?

I know Harden is on the team, and Parsons is trying to make the team. If they play each other it's going to be interesting.

You mean like some of us on here?

What's interesting to me is, given that they are on the inside of the situation, you'd think they wouldn't respond this way, if things were actually cool b/t CP and Harden. Fans can look bad on a forum, but at least we're ignorant to what's really going on and can only speculate. Parsons' brothers should have a clear idea of how things are between them, or at least the picture CP has painted for them. If they thought Harden was cool, i doubt they respond like this over media quotes. So, that tells me they already didn't think too highly of Harden, either from what they saw or CP has told them (or both).

One stupid "Tweet" after another. It's like a bad soap opera, with Parsons playing the role of the attractive, but stupid, girl that gets jilted. The attractive, but stupid, girl that simply will not shut up. You have a new dress to wear, Parsons. Now go back to your new closet in Dallas and work on your game. You need to, badly. There's a large target painted squarely on your back, and what's hilarious is that you painted it on there yourself using mirrors. One you're holding in your hand, the other one hanging on the wall. Personally, I think you're seeing double. Good luck with that, dude.

I'm sure it's has something do with the fact he's the best player in the league and has an easier path to the finals. Not this "tainted culture". So in a profession where trades are expected, organizations are now disrespectful to their players if they trade them.

mentioned this the other day...Parsons, will get the Lin Treatment, moments after Lin signed that contract with Houston. Opposing SF are gonna "play harder" against someone they believe is overpaid...

Chandler needs to put a filter on his brothers tweets. He's looking worse and worse with all of these comments through the media.

It's clear that he wanted the Rockets to match and is bitter, but you know what? He signed the contract, including the trade kicker which really put it over the top.

What is James supposed to say? That Chandler was a franchise piece too when we all know he wasn't? Come on now.
